The Song Dynasty was the peak period of the development of baby play pictures.The children’s play paintings focused on children,and depicted children’s daily life scenes such as games,imitation activities,and learning.The Song Dynasty baby play map has the characteristics of fine and realistic body painting,and it depicts children’s clothing in detail.Its shapes are rich,the patterns are exquisite and clearly visible,and the colors are bright and elegant.Compared with the prosperity of baby play pictures,there are few documents and unearthed cultural relics of children’s costumes in Song Dynasty.Therefore,baby play maps in Song Dynasty have become strong evidence for the study of children’s costumes in Song Dynasty,and have high artistic value and research value.This paper takes the children’s costumes in the baby play pictures of the Song Dynasty as the main research object,selects the representative baby play pictures of the Song Dynasty,and analyzes it based on the literature,unearthed objects,and related porcelain.First,starting from the Song Dynasty baby play map,it analyzes the artistic characteristics of the baby play map,the scenes of children’s life,and the images of children.Secondly,compare the children’s clothing in different periods,find the source of its development,analyze the shape,and summarize the artistic characteristics of children’s clothing in the Song Dynasty infant play pictures.Sort out the background of the formation of children’s clothing in Song Dynasty and the general situation of children’s clothing in the existing Song Dynasty baby play pictures,extract and analyze according to its shape,color and pattern,at the same time,classify and organize children’s hairstyles,head clothes,etc.,and make detailed drawings.This paper analyzes the characteristics of its clothing,explores the aesthetic characteristics of children’s clothing in the Song Dynasty,and its cultural connotation and inheritance value,and systematically studies the children’s clothing in the Song Dynasty infant play pictures.This paper takes the Song Dynasty baby play map as the main perspective to clarify the characteristics and cultural connotation of children’s clothing,hoping to provide a more valuable research basis for ancient children’s clothing and enrich the content of clothing research.
