Focused on improving the bio-trickling filter processing efficiency of NH3 and H2S in the breeding house,this research designs a modified bio-trickling filter with neat and clever structure,expecting to solve the problem of secondary pollution accumulated in the drilling fluid due to insufficient micro-organism processing capacity.The cycling tank of that bio-trickling filter is sealed to the filter body,and its intake structure is improved to allow the waste gas to pass through,which is reused as a biological aerated filter.The processing capacity of micro-organism is thereby improved by simulating the use of ventilator kinetic energy to provide aeration for the drilling fluid.Furthermore,feed dust produced in ventilator simulation can be used as nutrients for micro-organism without additional carbon sources for a cost saving.We make a compare of NH3and H2S processing efficiency between structure modified bio-trickling filter and the ordinary one,and analyze microbial ecology to investigate the impact of structure change on bio-trickling filter processing efficiency and organism diversity in the system.Results are as follows:(ⅰ)According to the experiment of biological aeration tank,most of NH3 and part of H2S can be pre-absorbed in the liquid phase.The average absorption efficiency of NH3 and H2S is 93.65±2.47%and 52.55±4.89%,respectively.The biological aeration tank can convert the absorbed NH3part into stable NO3-N,and the conversion efficiency is 45.62±2.05%.The conversion efficiency of S2-is 42.09±2.94%.(ⅱ)a)Structure modified bio-trickling filter has a higher processing efficiency under a lower spraying volume than the ordinary one.60ml·min-1 is the reasonable value of the drilling fluid spraying volume;b)Structure modified bio-trickling filter has a higher processing efficiency under a less retention time than the ordinary one.It can effectively reduce the site area together with construction and operation costs when applied into practice.For the modified filter,the average processing efficiency of NH3 is86.90±1.26%at an intake concentration of 15 in ten-second remaining and that of H2S is 80.79±3.87%on the same condition.The results are separately 10.52 and 10.68 percent higher than those of the ordinary one;c)Structure modified bio-trickling filter is more adaptable to high efficiency processing at different concentrations than the ordinary one,with a significant priority especially at a lower intake concentration.For the modified filter,the average processing efficiency of NH3 is 93.98±1.37%at an intake concentration of 5ppm and that of H2S is 87.73±1.27%at an intake concentration of 1ppm.The results are separately 10.74 and 17.47percent higher than those of the ordinary one.(ⅲ)Compared with the ordinary bio-trickling filter,the modified one shows more significant advantages in quick start of organism processing and efficient pollution accumulated removing.The transformation efficiency of NO3-N in the modified one is 48.39%,which is 18.14 percent higher than that of the ordinary filter.The transformation efficiency of NH4-N accounts for 28.35%while that of NO2-N is 2.17%,which are respectively 12.58 and 6.67 percent higher than the ordinary filter.(ⅳ)a)As to the ordinary filter,the Shannon Index of its under layers is 3.22 and of its upper layers is 2.27.Taking the above into consideration,it is discovered that organism diversity of the ordinary filter is lower than the modified one as a whole.Which means,structure modification provides a better environment for microbes to grow;b)At the Gate Level,the largest proportion of bacteria in the modified filter’s upper layer samples is Proteobacteria with a 50.37%and the second is Bacteroidota with a35.68%,while in its under layers samples Proteobacteria owns the largest proportion of 67.34%and Firmicutes of 20.54%calls for the second;c)On both upper and under layers of structure modified bio-trickling filter,bacterial genus with denitrification performance are Sphingosinicella,Pseudomonas,and Hydrogenophaga,while with desulfurization performance are Lysinibacillus and Bacillus.
