| While seeking to maximize income,farmers’ investment in agricultural production,such as means of production as chemical fertilizers and pesticides,has also increased year by year,leading to the gradual serious non-point source pollution of cultivated land.The harm of non-point source pollution to soil has gradually caused problems in agricultural products.At the same time,villagers’ health and agricultural development are also affected by non-point source pollution.Farmers are the main body in the agricultural production process.If they engage in unreasonable behavior during the production process,it will cause greater damage to the environment.Therefore,to solve the problem of non-point source pollution from the source,measures need to be taken to guide farmers to adopt correct behavior in the agricultural production process.Therefore,exploring the main influencing factors of farmers’ green planting behavior is of great significance for promoting agricultural green production.On the basis of reviewing relevant literature at home and abroad and referencing relevant theories,this article explores the mechanism of environmental literacy on farmers’ green production behavior.Based on effective questionnaire survey data from313 vegetable planting farmers in Qijiawan,Huangpi District,Wuhan City,structural equation modeling is used to empirically explore the impact of farmers’ environmental literacy on their green production behavior,And test the mesomeric effect of farmers’ green production willingness between environmental literacy and green production behavior.The main conclusions drawn from this study are as follows:(1)Farmers in the survey area have higher environmental literacy,higher green production willingness and higher green production behavior,but there are high willingness and low behavior in the process of implementing green production.(2)Environmental literacy will positively promote farmers’ green production behavior.In the direct impact of environmental literacy on farmers’ green production behavior,the effect values of the four dimensions on farmers’ green production behavior were 0.269,0.255,0.255 and 0.267,respectively,accounting for 57.92%,60.13%,56.36% and 58.20%,respectively.Among the total effects of environmental literacy on farmers’ green production behaviors,the effect values of the four dimensions of environmental literacy on green production behaviors are respectively 0.464,0.423,0.453 and 0.459.Although the degree of impact is different,the improvement of the four dimensions of environmental literacy is conducive to promoting farmers’ green production behaviors.(3)There is an intermediary effect between farmers’ green production intention and environmental literacy and farmers’ green production behavior.The path of effect generation can be expressed as "environmental literacy-farmers’ green production intention-farmers’ green production behavior".The mediating effect values of farmers’ green production intention between the four dimensions of environmental literacy and farmers’ green production behavior are 0.195,0.169,0.198 and 0.192,respectively.They accounted for 42.08%,39.87%,43.64% and 41.83%,respectively.The degree of intermediary effect was different.Improving farmers’ green production willingness would have a certain impact on farmers’ green production behavior.(4)Individual characteristics and family characteristics of farmers will also affect farmers’ green production behavior.The education level of individual characteristics has a significant positive effect on the green production behavior of farmers,but gender and age have little effect on it and fail to pass the significance test.The proportion of vegetable income in household characteristics has a significant effect on farmers’ green production behavior.Attention should also be paid to the effect of education level and the proportion of vegetable income.According to the above analysis,suggestions are put forward from the government and farmers’ level to improve the green production behavior of vegetable farmers.At the government level: organize publicity to improve farmers’ environmental awareness;Carry out activities regularly to cultivate farmers’ environmental emotion;Daily drip instilling,shaping farmers’ environmental values;Regular training to improve farmers’ environmental skills;Policy support,encourage farmers to adopt green production behavior;Technology research and development to promote farmers to adopt green production behavior.At the farmer’s level: active learning to improve their own environmental literacy;Improve consciousness,take the initiative to implement green production behavior. |
