The Influence Of Government Green Procurement On Enterprise Green Innovation

Looking at the world,the impact of the proportion of government procurement in GDP on the market and consumer preferences of some products cannot be ignored.In the late 1990 s,some countries recognized the importance of environmental protection.Instead of measuring the level of economic development by simple GDP,they tried to introduce environmental protection,green and ecological concepts into the GDP accounting standards.As a result,government green procurement is gradually developing and leading to sustainable consumption.As the micro-economic subject that provides the necessary material basis for social development,production-oriented enterprises should actively participate in the government green procurement,which is to guide the innovation of enterprises from the perspective of green development.Undoubtedly,the development of green innovation in production-oriented enterprises is the internal requirement and realization path to promote the construction of ecological civilization and strengthen the implementation of ecological and environmental protection work.This paper focuses on the relationship between government green procurement,enterprise R&D investment and enterprise green innovation,and deeply examines the direct and indirect effects of government green procurement on enterprise green innovation.Firstly,the research background and significance are explained,and the domestic and foreign literature,the research ideas and research content of this paper.Secondly,this paper draws on the relevant theories of government green,enterprise R&D investment and enterprise green innovation to provide the theoretical basis for the research,and puts forward the research hypothesis on the basis of exploring the direct influence mechanism and indirect influence mechanism of government green procurement on enterprise green innovation.Then,this paper selects the sample data of 75 prefecture-level cities in China from 2010 to 2016 for empirical research,and comprehensively analyzes the direct impact of government green procurement on the green innovation of enterprises and the intermediary effect of enterprise R&D investment.The research results found that: first,government green procurement can significantly promote enterprise green innovation;second,enterprise R & D investment has an intermediary role in the process of government green procurement affecting enterprise green innovation;third,the influence of government green procurement on enterprise green innovation has regional heterogeneity.This paper puts forward relevant policy suggestions:(1)increase enterprise green R&D investment and drive enterprise green innovation;(2)adjust green purchasing policy according to local conditions to realize the differentiated development of enterprise green innovation.
