| The rapid development of social economy has made human beings pay the environmental price,and various environmental problems have become increasingly prominent.This has made human beings realize that in order to advance the society,in addition to vigorously promoting the economy,environmental governance and protection work is also crucial.In recent years,our country attaches great importance to the environment construction,enterprises as an important part of society and an "important producer" of pollutants,have the responsibility to minimize the environmental cost while growing the economy,and environmental protection into a "spending" as the enterprise,how to make enterprises in the performance of environmental responsibility at the same time guarantee the maximization of economic benefit,so as to achieve "win-win".It has always been an important problem plaguing enterprises.At present,there are few literatures that directly study environmental input,green technology innovation and enterprise performance,and no unified conclusions have been drawn on the relationship among the three.Moreover,most of the existing researches take enterprises in heavy pollution industries as research objects,and pay little attention to non-heavy pollution industries.Therefore,this paper takes the enterprises whose environmental protection data can be obtained from all a-share listed companies from 2010 to 2020 as research samples,puts environmental protection input,green technology innovation and enterprise performance under the same framework,and studies the impact of environmental protection input on enterprise performance and green technology innovation.And find out the role and role of green technology innovation in the relationship between the two.At the same time,this paper also expanded the regression difference of the relationship between the three under different enterprise nature(state-owned enterprises and non-state-owned enterprises)and industry attribute(heavy pollution industry and non-heavy pollution industry)classification conditions.It can be obtained through regression analysis:(1)The relationship between environmental investment and enterprise performance shows a u-shaped curve,and the influence effect shows the characteristics of inhibition first and then promotion.(2)The impact of environmental protection input on enterprise performance has a lag,with a maximum lag of three periods.When environmental protection input lags one period,it has the greatest impact on enterprise performance.(3)The relationship between environmental input and green technology innovation shows an inverted U-shaped curve,which shows the characteristics of promoting first and then inhibiting from the impact effect.(4)Environmental input not only directly affects enterprise performance,but also has a mediating effect on enterprise performance through green technology innovation.Through further research,we find that:(1)The mediating effect of green technology innovation is different under different enterprise nature classification conditions.In state-owned enterprises,the mediating effect of green technology innovation exists and is always positive,showing a trend of decreasing first and then increasing.In non-state-owned enterprises,the mediating effect of green technology innovation does not exist.(2)The mediating effect of green technology innovation is different in different industries.In the heavy pollution industry,the mediating effect of green technology innovation exists and is always positive.The size also shows a trend of decreasing first and then increasing,but the change range is small.In nonheavy pollution industries,the mediating effect of green technology innovation exists,showing a trend of decreasing first and then increasing in size,with a greater range of change than that in heavy pollution industries.In direction,the mediating effect of green technology innovation first changes from positive to negative,and then from negative to positive.Compared two kinds of industry intermediary effect,within a certain range,under the condition of the same level of environmental protection investment,heavy pollution industry mediation effect of green technology innovation is greater than the heavy pollution industry,after more than this range,the mediation effect of green technology innovation of heavy pollution industry more than heavy pollution industry,and the gap change big trend.Based on the above research conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)The government should timely improve the relevant legal system,unify the statistical standard of enterprise environmental protection input and the classification standard of capitalization and expense of environmental protection input;Increasing subsidies or rewards for enterprises’ environmental protection activities;Strengthen supervision and law enforcement,and establish a "red and black list" of environmental protection;Strengthen the environmental regulation of non-state-owned enterprises,"trigger" the forced mechanism of environmental protection investment;Strengthen the protection of patents and create a good environment for innovation.(2)The society should strengthen the publicity and education of green concept,create a good,recyclable,green social atmosphere,enhance the awareness of environmental protection;Give play to the main role of supervision of the public;Use media to guide the right direction of public opinion on environmental protection;Set up the sense of ownership,take the initiative to understand and find the implementation of environmental protection work of enterprises,to form a situation of common governance by the whole people;Take the initiative to pay attention to investment projects related to environmental protection.(3)Enterprises should pay more attention to the environment and break thinking limits;Strengthen green innovation to achieve a virtuous cycle;Improve the quality of enterprise management,strengthen green education,the courage to assume environmental responsibility;Take the initiative to cooperate with research institutes,so that the deep integration of industry,learning and research;Establish environmental protection groups and build green technology sharing platforms. |
