Research On Furniture Design Based On The Creation Thought Of Jiangnan Literati In The Late Ming Dynasty

The creation thought of Jiangnan literati in the late Ming Dynasty plays an important role in the history of ancient Chinese arts and crafts with its unique design concept and aesthetic ideal.It not only reflects the evolution process of a nation’s material pursuit,but also reflects the cultural temperament of a nation’s internal spirit.Contemporary people’s attachment to traditional culture and the awakening of national identity have brought opportunities to the contemporary design research of Jiangnan literati creation thought.Especially in the field of furniture furnishings,how to inherit and develop the creation thought of Jiangnan literati,so that traditional Chinese furniture can adapt to the development and changes of the times,and create contemporary Chinese furniture products with both the characteristics of the times and the traditional culture has become the most concerned problem.Firstly,this paper analyzes and discusses the formation mechanism and background conditions of Jiangnan literati creation thought,and summarizes the aesthetic connotation,practical needs and artistic conception pursuit through instinct,behavior and reflection.Secondly,by comparing the changes of different social environments and subject consciousness in ancient and modern times,this paper explores the important value of Jiangnan literati creation thought for contemporary society,and formulates the development strategy of contemporary Chinese furniture products based on relevant design theories and technical guidance in combination with the actual situation of contemporary social development.Finally,after a large number of market research,this paper shows the design process and results of "Pushi" brand series works through a series of steps,and summarizes and reflects.This paper aims to deeply and comprehensively excavate the core ideas of the essence of traditional art and connect with contemporary real life,so that contemporary Chinese furniture design can truly meet the material and spiritual needs of consumers,and then provide methods and references for the development of relevant Chinese furniture design and industry.
