The life of the literati in the Ming Dynasty was inseparable from the characteristics of the times,and politics,economy,and culture influenced each other.In the Ming Dynasty,tea culture as a spiritual image of literati widely appeared in books or paintings written by literati doctors in the Ming Dynasty.This not only reflected the certain production and life,ceremonial culture,and aesthetic interests of the literati in the Ming Dynasty.Information can also show the impact of social transformation and cultural changes on the literati’s ideological reform.This article mainly reflects the spiritual demands of the Ming literati through the wisdom of tea,the use of tea to help think,the use of tea to keep in good health,the expression of hidden consciousness,and the cultivation of sentiment.Many of them who are in the official career but are in the forest,those who return to nature or have no intention of leaving the company,all hope to find their peace of mind in the tea.Therefore,boiling water and drinking tea played an important role in the activities of the literary and cultural society.The tea wares of the Ming Dynasty naturally prospered due to the development of tea culture.These utensils as a material carrier can convey people’s ideological interests and aesthetic ideals at that time.This thesis mainly studies the ceramic tea wares used in the artistic life of literati in the late Ming Dynasty,and their spiritual interest,and analyzes the reasons for the prevalence of tea in the Ming Dynasty,such as political and economic factors,to sort out the ideological changes of the literati and their influence.The literati in the Ming Dynasty were emancipated and the retro style was pervasive,especially in the middle and late Ming dynasties.The art of tea tasting is not only a leisure activity for literati,but also an expression of the literati’s connotation and cultivation.The late Ming Dynasty ceramics production technology is relatively mature,Jingdezhen porcelain occupies the main market of porcelain in the country,mainly blue and white,other such as Dou Cai,monochrome glaze,etc.are also very good,compared to the previous dynasty,the variety of ceramic teaware is more abundant There are various decoration techniques,and the technology is more mature.Especially in the late Ming Dynasty,we can see from the literati’s paintings such as study,living room,and mountain chaliao that the literati’s requirements for tea tasting environment,as well as the emphasis on selection of utensils.This thesis focuses on the manifestation of the literati teacups and ceramic tea utensils depicted in the tea paintings of Tang Yin,Wen Zhengming,Ding Yunpeng andothers in the Ming Dynasty paintings,to explore the pursuit of utensils by Ming literati in tea tasting,and then Analyze the characteristics of ceramic tea utensils in the late Ming Dynasty from the perspective of the shape,decoration and functions of utensils,and do a classification study on the ceramic tea utensils used in the late Ming Dynasty.Finally,it was concluded that the literati of the late Ming Dynasty not only had good ancient and bogu customs on the utensils,but also developed and innovated a series of tea utensils such as purple clay pots and other utensils.The tea ware of the Ming Dynasty was rich in varieties.Due to the evolution of the way of making tea,literati drinking tea appeared It has made more obvious changes and created a new situation of "scribe tea".The emergence of tea culture in the Ming Dynasty was an important turning point in history,creating a unique tea culture of the Ming Dynasty. |
