Research On Green Competitiveness Evaluation Of Private Express Delivery Enterprises—Taking Listed Companies As An Example

The vigorous development of e-commerce has opened up a broad market for domestic private express enterprises,but it also brings the pressure of energy saving and emission reduction.Especially in the 19th CPC National Congress and the "overall Plan for the Reform of Ecological Civilization system",it is clearly committed to "forming a spatial pattern,industrial structure,mode of production and way of life for saving resources and protecting the environment." This indicates that green competitiveness,not only as an industry threshold,but also as a powerful means for enterprises to save costs and obtain policy support,has officially become an important part of the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises,and express delivery enterprises are no exception.Therefore,to establish a complete index system to evaluate the green competitiveness of domestic private express enterprises with appropriate methods will not only extend the evaluation of green competitiveness to service enterprises,but also help express enterprises to find deficiencies in the evaluation results,guide them to give full play to their ability under the premise of controllable cost,improve the efficiency of resource allocation,and constantly improve their green competitiveness.Firstly,combined with the existing research,this paper summarizes the market competition pattern and industry characteristics of the domestic express industry,in which technology competition and service competition have become the remarkable characteristics of the current express industry.Then this paper draws lessons from the index system from the perspective of "input-output" and divides it into two categories:input index and output index.Among them,the determination of input indicators combines theoretical analysis and factors affecting the green competitiveness of express delivery companies.The indicators include enterprise green resource input,enterprise green development capability(scientific and technological innovation capability)and enterprise green management capability.The output indicators include enterprise economic performance,service performance and environmental performance.The above six dimensions are subdivided into 28 indicators.Finally,this paper selects the data of six domestic listed express companies from 2018 to 2020 for empirical analysis.The entropy method is used to determine the index weight,and then the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to evaluate the green competitiveness level of the above enterprises.The following conclusions are drawn:the index weight shows that technological innovation is the most effective means for express delivery enterprises to enhance their green competitiveness.Corporate green culture,business income,public satisfaction and transportation timeliness are other relatively important indicators,which represent enterprise management ability,economic performance and service performance respectively.Express delivery enterprises should actively try to break through at the above level.Through the analysis of the membership degree of the evaluation set,we can see that there is a big gap in the green competitiveness of the six private listed express enterprises in China.Most of SF’s indicators are outstanding and are significantly ahead of other companies.Zhongtong played the role of a pursuer,and most of the indicators performed well.Although the economic performance of Yunda,Best,Yuantong and Shentong is also considerable,insufficient R&D investment,relatively extensive management model and serious product homogenization have become the crux of the problem.To sum up,the green competitiveness of the six enterprises can be ranked from strong to weak in the following order:Shunfeng>Zhongtong>Yunda>Best>Yuantong>Shentong.
