| Since September 2020,when General Secretary Xi announced that China would achieve emission peak and carbon neutrality by 2030 and 2060 respectively,the "double carbon" target has become an important strategic policy for China’s 14th Five-Year Plan and even for the future,profoundly affecting the green and low-carbon development process of Chinese enterprises.The report of the 20th CPC National Congress stressed that China should actively and steadily promote emission peak and carbon neutralization based on energy and resource endowment.The continuous promotion of the goal of "double carbon" not only marks the acceleration of the low-carbon transformation of China’s energy structure but also shows that the power generation enterprises belonging to the energy industry must achieve green and low-carbon development.In the face of increasing market competition,whether power generation enterprises can coordinate the contradiction between economic and environmental benefits and achieve green and low-carbon development essentially depends on the green competitiveness of enterprises.It is significant to explore the connotation of green competitiveness of power generation enterprises in the context of "double carbon",clarify the level and development status of green competitiveness of power generation enterprises in China,and summarize the strategies to improve the green competitiveness of power generation enterprises,which is important to enhance the green competitiveness of power generation enterprises and realize the green and low-carbon development of power generation enterprises.Therefore,this paper firstly analyzes 174 valid news data,totaling 180,000 words,published on official websites such as China Electricity Council website,using textual analysis and programmatic grounded theory,to extract key indicators of green competitiveness of power generation enterprises in the context of "double carbon",and builds a model of key indicator system by analyzing the relationship between key indicators to clarify the connotation of green competitiveness of power generation enterprises in the context of "double carbon".Secondly,based on the refinement of key indicators,a four-level evaluation index system for the green competitiveness of power generation enterprises in the context of "double carbon" is established,and a comprehensive evaluation model for the green competitiveness of power generation enterprises in the context of "double carbon" is constructed by combining entropy weight method,TOPSIS method,and grey correlation analysis method.Finally,the five major power generation groups and 17 listed power generation enterprises are selected for empirical analysis,and the green competitiveness examples of the top and bottom ranked enterprises are analyzed according to the comprehensive evaluation results,in order to find out the level and development status of the green competitiveness of power generation enterprises and propose strategies to improve the green competitiveness of power generation enterprises.The results show that:(1)The five main indicators of green low-carbon transformation optimization,green corporate governance,green financial transaction,green technology innovation,and green production management jointly contribute to the improvement of green competitiveness of power generation enterprises in the context of "double carbon".By analyzing the relationship between the key indicators,a model of green competitiveness of power generation enterprises in the context of "double carbon" is built,which includes 5 main indicators and 28 sub-indicators.(2)In the four-level comprehensive evaluation index system constructed,the target layer is the green competitiveness of power generation enterprises in the context of "double carbon";the criterion layer includes 5 main indicators such as green and lowcarbon transformation optimization;the element layer includes 28 sub-indicators such as the expansion of new energy industry;and 60 quantitative indicators such as the proportion of new energy power generation are selected in the indicator layer.(3)Among the five criterion layers,the green production management criterion layer has the greatest influence on the green competitiveness evaluation of power generation enterprises,among which the two element layers of optimizing power generation structure and reducing carbon emissions have the greatest influence on the green production management of power generation enterprises.(4)The overall green competitiveness of the five major power generation groups in the context of "double carbon" is perfect enough,among which China Datang Corporation has the strongest green competitiveness.(5)All 17 listed power generation companies have a gray correlation closeness below 0.5 in the context of "double carbon",and their overall green competitiveness is far from being ideal,among which China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited has the strongest green competitiveness and Datang Huayin Electric Power Co.,Ltd has the weakest green competitiveness.(6)According to the evaluation results,power generation enterprises should firstly focus on green production management,secondly,focus on green low-carbon transformation optimization and green governance,and participate in green financial transactions,and finally promote green technology innovation to enhance their green competitiveness in the context of"double carbon".From the evaluation perspective of green competitiveness of power generation enterprises in the context of "double carbon",the key indicators of green competitiveness of power generation enterprises in the context of the new era were extracted and a model of key indicator system was built.Based on this,the green competitiveness evaluation index system and comprehensive evaluation model of power generation enterprises in the context of "double carbon" were constructed that aim is to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the green competitiveness of power generation enterprises in the context of"double carbon".The study clarifies the connotation of green competitiveness of power generation enterprises,explores the development level and current situation of green competitiveness of power generation enterprises,and proposes strategies to improve green competitiveness of power generation enterprises,which has certain management guidance significance for the green and low-carbon development of power generation enterprises. |
