Application Of Baojing Bamboo Weaving In Study Furniture

As an intangible cultural heritage in Hunan Province,Baojing bamboo weaving has a long history.Baojing is located in the central part of western Hunan.The unique geographical conditions have formed rich bamboo resources.strong humanistic value.With the changes in the consumer market,changes in people’s aesthetic trends,and the emergence of new technologies and materials,the development of traditional handicrafts is facing huge challenges.In order to make up for the gap in the inheritance of bamboo weaving skills and improve the market competitiveness,it is necessary to further explore the advantages of Baojing bamboo weaving,improve the skills and weaving patterns,integrate modern design elements,and expand the application scope of bamboo weaving.Therefore,this paper puts forward the application analysis of Baojing bamboo weaving in study furniture.The specific conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Firstly,the development status of Baojing bamboo weaving,material bamboo,material processing technology,weaving molding technique and existing product characteristics were studied through field investigation and literature review.Secondly,the overview and design elements of study furniture are analyzed.It is concluded that the advantages of Baojing bamboo weaving in study furniture include humanistic feelings,natural materials and visual effects.From these perspectives,it lays a theoretical foundation for the integration of Baojing bamboo weaving and study furniture.(2)Among the commonly used bamboo materials for Baojing bamboo weaving,the water bamboo and light bamboo,which are rich in resources and high in utilization rate,were selected for lateral comparison experiments,and the physical and mechanical properties of the two were analyzed.The performance of bamboo weaving study furniture is the best;at the same time,the weaving techniques of bamboo weaving are screened,and the dense weaving of decorative effect and the sparse weaving of light leakage effect are used as examples to improve,simplify the techniques to improve production efficiency,and appropriately promote the development of bamboo weaving technology;secondly,weaving patterns In the innovative design,the pattern effect is affected by the color of the bamboo strips.Therefore,the dyeing experiment was carried out on the bamboo strips.The results showed that when the acid dye reaches the boiling point,the cooking and dyeing time is 10 minutes,and the dyeing effect is the best.Finally,the combination method of bamboo weaving and study furniture is analyzed to provide methods and basis for design practice.(3)In the design practice,the Kano model is used to determine the product requirements that the bamboo woven study furniture should meet:comfortable and practical,storage design,easy installation,harmonious interior style,natural primary colors,strong and durable,creative and interesting expectations,green environmental protection,matching furniture Exciting demand for combination,modern simplicity,traditional cultural elements,elegant and fresh,and rich texture.Meeting these design requirements can improve users’ satisfaction with bamboo-woven study furniture and enhance product competitiveness.The design of three series of bamboo weaving study furniture reflects the benign integration of Baojing bamboo weaving and study furniture.Option 1 was selected for physical production,which successfully verified the feasibility of the application of Baojing bamboo weaving in the design of study furniture,and broadened the application scope of bamboo weaving.
