| The construction industry has globally played a pivotal role in the development of human civilization and the advancement of social economy.Since 1949 when the People’s Republic of China was founded,new record highs were set for output value of construction industry.As the pillar industry in China,the essentially of it has been becoming more and more obvious.In addition,it has become a key force in promoting the development of national economy.In the meanwhile,the scale of construction industry is growing rapidly which not only makes great contribution to economic development,but also constantly creates new jobs with a huge increase in the number of its employees.However,there is no denying that construction industry is still one of the most dangerous industries in the word.From 2011 to 2020,the annual death toll of workplace accidents has peaked at 75,572,which means 0.173 person could die with the gross domestic product(GDP)for the growing of every 100 million yuan,according to a report released by the National Bureau of Statistics(NBS).That high statistic does not even include the number of injured workers of workplace accidents.With high frequency,the workplace accidents endanger the safety of worker as well as the economic and social development.Besides,the accidents also incurred serious damage to those victims’ families,which is a great threat to the social stability.Nowadays,the efforts to fend off workplace accidents of construction industry has become a significant goal of the national development.Hence,it represents a critical contribution to intervene effectively in workplace accidents of construction industry by studying on the influential elements of construction workers’safety behavior.This study stands from internal causes of construction workers’unsafe behaviors.From the perspective of work-family conflict,it explores the correlation between psychological factors and safety behaviors of construction workers.Through the research of the key variables,such as work-family conflict,job burnout,family support and safety behavior,it proposes new hypotheses and constructs the model of relationship between work-family conflicts,job burnout and construction workers’safety behavior.Besides,this study analyzes the mediation effect of job burnout and the moderation effect of family support in this model for pursuing the protective methods of construction workers’ safety behaviors and providing a new direction of safety management of construction projects. |
