| The contradiction between economic development and the natural environment is an inevitable major challenge for China’s economic development.Following the important theory that science and technology are the primary productive forces, and adhering to innovation as the primary driving force for development, green technology innovation has become the core channel and key means to drive the sustainable construction and development of the green economy.Against the background of prominent economic-environmental contradictions, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Science and Technology jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Building a Market-Oriented Green Technology Innovation System",which aims to take into account economic development and green transformation by means of green technology innovation. However, focusing on China’s unique geographical, economic, political and technological situation, the resource endowment, institutional environment and technical conditions of different regions are different, which will lead to the original differences in the level of green technology innovation in different regions. Therefore, the pursuit of unified green technology The innovative development path is not realistic. In order to solve the problems of analyzing regional differences, focusing on the Chinese context, and discovering adaptation paths, this thesis will conduct detailed research. This thesis takes China’s eight comprehensive economic zones as research units, reflects the level of green technology innovation in each region through the number of green invention patents, and analyzes the differences between regions through visual diagrams combined with data.Focusing on the Chinese situation,Wei Jiang et al.put forward the theory of asymmetric innovation, interpreting the special factors that distinguish China’s economic development from other countries from three aspects: market form, government system and technological system.Based on this, this thesis constructs a market-institution-technology three-dimensional framework, and deconstructs it into five sub-indices of marketization process, environmental regulation, government funding,R&D investment, and R&D personnel investment in combination with literature review. This thesis adopts the method of combining QCA and NCA to study the key driving factors and realization paths of China’s green technology innovation from the perspective of configuration. Finally, according to the research conclusions, reasonable policy suggestions are provided for improving the level of green technology innovation in various regions. The research shows:(1)The distribution of China’s green technology innovation level shows obvious regional differences and agglomeration and radiation effects. The green technology innovation level is from the eastern coast, the southern coast, the northern coast, the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, the southwest, the middle reaches of the Yellow River, the northeast, and the northwest.Comprehensive economic The area decreases in turn, and the agglomeration radiation effect is significant in the eastern, southern and northern coastal areas.(2)NCA analysis shows that each condition variable is a necessary condition(inadequate)to achieve green technology innovation at a level of 20% or above, and the necessity of R&D investment, marketization process and R&D personnel investment is more significant.(3)The analysis of the necessary conditions of QCA shows that R&D investment is a necessary condition for realizing green technology innovation, and there is no necessary condition for non-green technology innovation. The result set is a subset of NCA results, and the conclusions of the two methods are complementary and mutually supportive. The configuration analysis shows that there are two high-level green technology innovation paths, one is market-driven under the leadership of technology investment and the other is the independent and open path under the leadership of technology investment;there are two non-high-level green technology innovation paths, which are lack of multiple factors. The resource-cursing path under the constraints of model and market. |
