Research On Coupling Coordination Degree Of Carbon Finance And Ecological Environment In China

The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that it is necessary to strengthen the construction of ecological civilization,strengthen the protection of ecological environment,and with the official launch of China’s carbon finance trading market in 2017,analyze the development of carbon finance and ecological environment in all provinces(municipalities,autonomous regions)(excluding Tibet,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan),and reveal the differences of coupling coordination degree between provincial carbon finance and ecological environment,It is of great practical significance to accelerate the development process of carbon finance and ecological environment in China.Firstly,it introduces the realistic background of carbon finance,defines the relevant concepts,and combs the relevant literature at home and abroad.Secondly,the mechanism of coupling coordination between carbon finance and ecological environment is analyzed.Thirdly,the carbon finance index system is constructed from carbon trading,carbon bonds,carbon stocks,carbon funds and other levels.The "pressure state response"(PSR)model is used to construct the ecological environment index system,and the carbon finance development level and ecological environment level of China’s 30 provinces(municipalities,autonomous regions)(excluding Tibet,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)from 2011 to 2018 are calculated.This paper constructs the coupling coordination degree model of carbon finance and ecological environment,calculates the coupling coordination degree of carbon finance and ecological environment of each province(municipality directly under the central government,autonomous region)every year,draws the corresponding spatial distribution map,and analyzes the spatial pattern.The results show that:(1)the development of carbon finance in China is good,but the overall level is low(2)China’s ecological environment continues to improve,but the overall quality needs to be improved(3)China’s carbon finance and ecological environment coupling coordination level is increasing year by year,showing a distribution pattern of high in the East and low in the West.Finally,according to the conclusions,it puts forward that China should comprehensively promote the development of carbon finance and improve the level of carbon finance;We should strengthen environmental management and improve the quality of ecological environment;It is suggested to build regional docking platform and reduce the difference of coupling coordination between regions.
