Work-related musculoskeletal disorders(WMSDs)are highly likely to occur during overhead upper limb works such as assembly,repair and maintenance in the field of engineering equipment.And how to prevent workers’ WMSDs has become a hot issue in the fields of ergonomics,industrial engineering and medicine.For joint comfort in overhead maintenance work,this thesis simulates overhead maintenance work based on JACK software,obtains the upper limb joint angle and torque under different sequences.Then establishes an upper limb joint comfort assessment method in overhead maintenance work that integrates joint angle and torque.Then,Ant Colony Optimization is used to optimize its sequence.The details of the thesis are as follows:(1)Analysis of overhead upper limb work comfort and theoretical study of work sequences optimization.The definition of overhead upper limb work and the motor characteristics as well as anatomical elements of each upper limb joint were discussed.Then,the joint angle and torque factors that affect the comfort of upper limb joints were analyzed.The existing man-machine ergonomics simulation platform was compared and analyzed,and the maintenance work sequence optimization method was studied.(2)Simulation of overhead maintenance work based on JACK software.The overhead maintenance work of a vehicle radar antenna was studied and decomposed,experimental design was conducted using JACK software and the maintenance work sequence optimization was simulated.Experimental simulation of the module to be maintained to obtain joint angle and torque data in different sequences.(3)Evaluation method of upper limb joint comfort based on joint angle and torque.Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)was used to determine the weight of each upper limb joint,and the influence of joint angle and torque on the comfort level of upper limb joints in overhead maintenance work.The functional relationships between upper limb joint comfort and joint angles and torque were established separately,and the two were coupled for an overall assessment of upper limb joint comfort.(4)Sequence optimization method of overhead maintenance work considering upper limb joint comfort.The constraint elements of vehicle radar antenna maintenance work optimization are analyzed.By studying the basic principle,implementation steps and parameter setting methods of Ant Colony Algorithm,the optimization method of overhead maintenance work is proposed,and the optimal path considering the comfort of upper limb joints is determined.The research in this thesis can provide effective support for the work sequence election of overhead maintenance works,improve the upper limb joint comfort and reduce the occurrence of WMSDs.
