Research On Wetland Landscape Optimization Based On Ecosystem Health Assessment

Protecting the ecological environment of the Yellow River basin and achieving high-quality development is an important ecological construction strategy in China.Lanzhou City,as the main city through which the Yellow River flows,needs to shoulder the protection work of maintaining the wetland ecosystem of the Yellow River.Through in-depth research in recent years,certain achievements have been achieved in the ecological protection and restoration of wetlands in Lanzhou section of the Yellow River.However,due to natural factors and human development and utilization factors,the degradation of wetland ecological functions still exists.Through literature review and field research,using ENVI,Arcgis,and Fragstats software to get land use data in the study area.Based on this,selected 14 landscape indices to analyzing the basic characteristics,landscape shape characteristics,landscape fragmentation,and landscape pattern characteristics of wetland patch types in the Lanzhou section of the Yellow River;Secondly,using the "PSR" model,based on the landscape index,evaluation indicators are selected to establish a comprehensive wetland ecosystem health evaluation index system,determine evaluation standards,calculate the wetland ecosystem health index of the Lanzhou section of the Yellow River,and quantitatively analyze and evaluate the wetland health status.The evaluation results show that the health status of the wetland ecosystem in the Lanzhou section is at level III of the evaluation criteria,with a health index of 0.5089,0.4896,0.5159,and 0.5068 at pressure,state,and response,as well as at the comprehensive level.Finally,based on landscape pattern analysis and ecosystem health evaluation results,explore the overall planning and design of wetlands at the research Area and select three theme research units within the Lanzhou section of the Yellow River,and explore strategies and methods for landscape optimization and improvement design,Integrating theoretical research with practical design,providing reference for the ecological protection and restoration of wetlands in the Lanzhou section of the Yellow River,and better achieving the construction of ecological civilization and high-quality economic and social development in the Yellow River Basin.
