Today,as trade relations between countries around the world grow closer and closer, and trade relationships between countries influence and interact with each other, and relationships between exchanges each country affects its trade status, which often affects its economic development in different ways foreign structure and commerce. From this perspective, the study of the international trade pattern of scarce resources and the scientific evaluation of China’s position in the international trade of scarce industrial chain is of great practical importance to China in order to scientifically formulate international trade policies for scarce mineral resource products and further enhance the influence of China’s global scarce mineral resources products.By constructing the directed weighted network and directed weighted network of rare mineral resources products from 2011 to 2021,and making a global complex network trade map through Gephi software, the trade characteristics of rare mineral resources products are visually analyzed, and the internal structural features and process of network evolution are explored from the analysis of global features and individual features of the network, and the internal structural features and the process of network evolution are explored using indicators such as network density, clustering coefficient, mean path length, degree, centrality, and so forth. The network was subsequently partitioned into associations by network detection method, and the internal characteristics of the community were explored, and the evolution and grouping characteristics of rare mineral resources products were summarized.Next, the QAP analysis method is used to analyze the correlation and regression analysis of the economic, geographical, cultural and scientific and technological factors affecting the trade of rare mineral resources products from 2011 to 2021 as a relationship matrix, and the degree of influence and evolution process are analyzed. Then, from the perspective of China, the trade relations, trade quotas and major trading countries in the import and export trade network of rare mineral resources products in China from 2011 to 2021 are compared, and the characteristics of their intermediary and community composition and evolution are analyzed. Finally, based on the current dilemma of China’s rare mineral resources, corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed. This paper concludes that(1)By measuring the network density, clustering coefficient and average path length of the rare mineral trade network,it is found that the rare mineral trade network is generally dense, and the ties between the participating countries are relatively close, and there is a agglomeration effect.Among them, gallium, indium and germanium products trade network is the closest, cadmium and its products are second, and thallium products trade network is relatively sparse.(2)The characteristics of rare mineral resources associations are relatively stable, important associations have not changed much, and a small number of countries still control the trade volume of rare mineral resources; The intra-community trade network is dominated by a small number of central countries, with the participation of the remaining participating countries.(3)The evolution pattern of rare mineral trade network is affected by indicators such as economic distance, geographical specificity, common language and number of patents, but the influencing factors of different rare metals are not the same, gallium, indium and germanium products trade network is mainly affected by common language and geographical distance, while tellurium products are mainly affected by geographical distance and patent quantity, and cadmium products are affected by economic distance, geographical distance and patent quantity.(4)China has a greater say in the mineral trading network of gallium, indium and germanium products, and its control over these three mineral resources ranks among the top 3 in the world, second only to the United States and similar to Germany, but at the same time China has the risk of greater import dependence.
