| With the intensification of global climate change and the acceleration of urbanization, the losses caused by typhoon disasters have shown an obvious upward trend.Especially in the coastal areas with rapid economic development and dense population, typhoon disasters seriously threaten the development of human society and sustainable development. How to reduce the risk of typhoon disasters and improve the social resilience has become an important issue for human beings.Research on social vulnerability can reflect the damage degree of social systems for typhoon disasters in a certain area.Existing scientific research shows that disaster-oriented social vulnerability research not only needs to consider the influence of social factors, but also needs to take into account both disaster and environment. These together factors determine the sensitivity of human society to disasters, adaptive capacity, and the damage extent of social systems under disasters. The existing researches on social vulnerability mainly focus on the impact of social factors in natural disasters, and lack to explore the combined impact effects of disaster, environmental and social systems. This paper takes social vulnerability as the research object, and the core problem of the research is how to evaluate the social vulnerability of coastal cities under the influence of typhoon disasters, and what specific indicators can measure the degree of social vulnerability to typhoon disasters in coastal areas. How to analyze the evaluation results of social vulnerability to typhoon disasters, and which dimensions can be described in detail. This paper selects Shenzhen, where typhoon disasters occur frequently,as the research scope.Through the research of relevant literature and the collection of basic data on the current situation, the VSD framework is used to construct an evaluation of social vulnerability under typhoon disasters from three dimensions: exposure, sensitivity and adaptability.system.Using big data, the meteorological data of daily rainfall, wind speed and maximum wind speed of 4,231 live grid points during the typhoon transit in 2020 were obtained, and related data such as land use, infrastructure, population census, and economic census were collected. The index weight is assigned by the method, the comprehensive index of social vulnerability to typhoon disaster is calculated, and the inverse distance weight interpolation method and spatial module analysis method in Arc GIS 10.2 software are used to visually analyze the index,so as to identify the social vulnerability of Shenzhen city under the typhoon disaster. In highlevel areas, analyze the causes of high vulnerability and propose countermeasures. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The social vulnerability levels of typhoon disasters in different districts of Shenzhen are different, and there are great differences.Among them, the social vulnerability index of Yantian District,Luohu District and Dapeng New District is the highest, and the social vulnerability index of Futian District is the lowest.(2)The social vulnerability of different levels of typhoon disasters in Shenzhen presents the characteristics of agglomeration and distribution in space, and the high social vulnerability is mainly concentrated in the coastal area.(3)The causes of high vulnerability to typhoon disasters in Shenzhen are significantly different.Luohu District,Yantian District and Dapeng New District are mainly caused by high sensitivity, high exposure and low adaptability respectively. |
