| Climate change is one of the major challenges facing the international community.Climate governance has also become a very important issue in global governance.As a responsible major country,China has taken an active part in the global climate governance process.It has changed its role from an active participant in addressing climate change to a contributor and gradually becoming a key leader.China has taken the initiative to put forward the "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" target as its NDC commitment,which shows to the world China’s ambition and responsibility as a major country in addressing climate change.The proposal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" targets has also become a good opportunity for China to construct the discourse of climate governance.Because China already has the guarantee of comprehensive national strength and the experience of participating in global climate governance,the current international situation also calls for China to become a new leader in global climate governance.These facts fully prove that it is feasible and possible for China to construct the power of discourse in global climate governance.Besides,it is necessary to construct the discourse power of global climate governance in order to maintain our interests,shape a good international image and promote international climate cooperation.But at the same time,China is also facing double challenges from the international and domestic society.Among them,there is pressure from the discourse hegemony of the Western countries,and at the same time,there are differences and challenges from the developing countries.From the perspective of the domestic level,the commitment of voluntary contribution in realizing "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" targets are still blocked and long,and the long-term lack of discourse makes it difficult for China to construct climate governance discourse.In the face of these challenges,China needs to combine its current situation,form strategies from the aspects of improving its climate governance capacity,improving the climate governance discourse system,and actively participating in and leading global climate governance,so as to construct the discourse power of China’s climate governance. |
