With the rapid development of the Internet information age, online social networks have become our daily necessities and an important way for people to interact. Its open and low-cost nature leads to a lower threshold for information release.Everyone can speak but cannot guarantee the accuracy of information, which leads to rampant rumors in the network and often filled with various untrue statements. The misleading rumors are easy to lead the public to make wrong actions in life, which will bring great harm to the society and the country. Therefore,it is very important to explore the internal mechanism of rumor propagation evolution, how to effectively dispel rumors and reduce the harm of rumor propagation. In this paper,we focus on the propagation of rumors in a two-layer complex network. The study population was divided into three groups:spreaders, ignorants, and refuters.Considering the different ways of rumor spreading and rumor refutation in real life,it is assumed that rumor is spreads in the ER random network layer, while rumor refutation is propagated in the SF scale-free network layer. After a period of evolution, the system eventually evolved into three states:1.All individuals became refuters;2.Ignorants coexist with refuters;3.Three types of individuals coexist. We discuss the influence of propagation model parameters, initial density of different individuals, and network topology characteristics on rumor propagation. The simulation results show that the parameters of high refuting rate and slow spreading rate have positive effects on the three-state coexistence of spreaders, ignorants and refuters. At the same time, the rumor evolution is more influenced by the initial density of the refuters, but less influenced by spreaders. In addition,it is found that the probability of a node eventually becoming a spreader and surviving is determined by his neighbors in the SF layer. The deciding factor is the sum of degrees in the ER layer of these neighbors.
