The rapid development of network technology has promoted the development of many social network platforms, which make users more convenient and flexible to receive and share information, but also make it easier to spread rumor in social networks, and greatly promote the scope and speed of the spread of rumors. Therefore, how to formulate corresponding strategies to effectively control the spread of rumors in social networks is of great significance to maintain social stability and security. In social networks, rumors are always coexisting with other information. The factors that affect the spread of rumors include not only the characteristics of the rumors themselves, the individual factors and group psychology of the communicator, and other coexisting information in the network, but also the characteristics of the network topology. On the basis of detailed analysis of the process of rumors spreading, the models are established from the two perspectives: rumor spreaders being affected by psychological factors and the refuting information of media, and rumor spreading being affected by the network topology. The research and analysis of rumor spreading in social network are carried out.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The media's refuting information and the psychological factors of users have been taken into account to model and analyze rumor spreading.Rumors and other information in social networks are always coexisting. When users receive rumors, they will also receive other related information, such as the refuting information from media. When faced with a variety of information, users will have different individual psychology, which will evolve into different communication behaviors.Considering the timeliness of the spread of rumor information, old information will be replaced by new information, and users will also forget about rumors that have been generated for a long time, which will directly affect the spread of rumors. Therefore,on the basis of the traditional SIR model,a new rumor spreading model is constructed by considering the two kinds of individual psychology of hesitation and forgetting and media effects.According to the propagation dynamics equation, the equilibrium point and basic reproduction number of the model are solved, and then the local and global stability of the equilibrium point of the model are theoretically proved by the theorem of propagation dynamics, and finally verified by numerical simulation. The experimental results show that whether rumors ultimately exist in the network is related to the value of the basic reproduction number, and reveal the influence of media factors and the two individual psychology of hesitation and forgetting on the spread of rumors in social networks.(2)Based on social network topology to model and analyze rumor spading. The carriers of rumors in social networks are different users. They have different social background and life experience,so their ability to resist rumors is different;they have different social circles,so the scope and intensity of the information posted by them is also different.Users in social networks are been interacted with each other,so that rumor spreading behaviors between neighboring users will affect each other.Considering this situation, the different influence of authority effect, herd effect, and friend intimacy on the spread of rumors in social network is analyzed by the structural characteristics of social networks, and establishing a nonuniform transition probability function that reflects the structural characteristics of the network. Thus a new rumor spreading model was proposed.Through experiments on two simulated networks and two real social networks,it is analyzed how the above three factors affect the spread of rumors in social networks.
