Study On Plant Culture And Its Application In West Lake Of Hangzhou

In cultural landscape,plants have both natural and humanistic attributes,and are important materials for shaping cultural landscape.Contemporary plant landscape emphasizes the ecology and science of plants and ignores the expression of plant humanistic connotation,which leads to the lack of humanistic heritage of this kind of landscape and the dilemma of difficult emotional resonance of tourists.In order to deepen the public’s understanding of the Aesthetic Logic of plant cultural landscape and better build a park city with cultural diversity,this paper studies the plant culture and its application status of Hangzhou West Lake by using the methods of content analysis,Semiotics,field investigation and questionnaire.The research results are as follows:(1)Based on the development characteristics of Hangzhou West Lake poetry and song,combined with the change characteristics of plant culture connotation in each period,the historical evolution of plant culture in Hangzhou West Lake is divided into four periods.From the Southern Qi Dynasty to the middle Tang Dynasty(447-822),the characteristics of plant culture developed from explaining the geographical environment to appreciating tree shape,color and taste;From the middle and late Tang Dynasty to the end of the Song Dynasty(822-1279),poets and musicians paid attention to the humanization of plant analogy and lyricism through scenery.On this basis,the Song Dynasty deepened the symbol of plant moral significance;During the Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties(1280-1911),the plant moral and aesthetic symbols were mature,and the plant culture developed towards the direction of personality and spiritual symbols;After the revolution of 1911(1911-),the main feature of plant culture is to integrate the national destiny and carry the connotation of national spirit.(2)According to the semiotic method,this paper interprets and summarizes the plant culture of 47 scenic spots in Hangzhou West Lake,and divides the plant culture types of Hangzhou West Lake into four plant culture types combined with the theme of place 1)Nature worship: four seasons solar terms and plant totem worship.2)Gods culture: Buddhist and Taoist plant culture.3)Love culture: including male and female love,filial piety,loyalty and justice,and cherishing talents.4)Remember history:including historical achievements and historical lessons.There are four mainstream plant culture application strategies in Hangzhou West Lake.1)Application of plant elements.Two application modes:graphic design;three dimensional modeling design.2)Description of poetry,song and painting.Two major application methods: gardening with poetry,song and painting.That is,the so-called "meaning comes first in writing".Second,poetry is written with scenery.3)Legends and allusions reappear.Three ways of application: combining thematic garden sketches to create cultural atmosphere;Festival shaping;Specific plant planting design to set off the environmental atmosphere.4)Homophonic Association of plant names.There are two application forms,which are prominently reflected in:“Virtual use”.(3)Through the analysis of 744 questionnaires,the current situation of the popularization of plant culture in Hangzhou West Lake is general.37.6% of people said they had no experience related to plant culture,and the biggest constraint is the lack of access.The frequency of Hangzhou citizens participating in relevant activities is low,with "year" as the frequency unit.Strong willingness to participate in plant cultural activities.In the survey of willingness to participate in relevant activities in the future,628 people expressed their willingness to participate,accounting for 84.4%.The recognition of plant culture in Hangzhou West Lake is general.Refer to the scoring standard 10 point system for quantitative assignment and score grade definition: 0-2 points are defined as a failure grade;3-5 points are defined as the qualified grade;6-8 points are defined as a good grade;9-11 points are defined as excellent grade.Among them,the qualified grade accounts for the largest proportion of 43.9%.In view of the problems found in the research,this paper puts forward the future prospects from the perspective of plant culture inheritance and innovation,cultural popularization and public participation.
