Since the success of Beijing’s bid to host the 2022 Winter Olympics in 2015,Chongli District of Zhangjiakou,as one of the competition areas,has attracted the attention of the whole country and even the world.Chongli district has implemented a wide range of land construction in recent years,and the land use pattern has changed significantly.However,at present,there is a lack of systematic research on the impact of the Winter Olympics on land use change in Chongli district.Therefore,based on remote sensing images,night light data and interest point data,this paper makes a progressive research on land use change in Chongli District in 2013,2015,2017,2019 and 2021,and mutually verifies and analyzes the research results of multi-source data,Reveal the correlation between the Winter Olympic Games and land use change in Chongli District,and systematically analyze the driving factors of land use change in Chongli district.The main research results are as follows:(1)Firstly,Random Forest model is used to classify the medium spatial resolution remote sensing images of Chongli district from 2013 to 2021,and obtain the changes of forest and grassland,cultivated land,construction land,water body and other land in Chongli district from2013 to 2021.The results show that the dynamic degree of land use change in Chongli district from 2013 to 2021 is as follows: construction land > other land > cultivated land > forest and grassland > water body.(2)In order to focus on the study of construction land,the mutation detection method is used to extract the built-up area from the night light data of phase 5 of Chongli district from2013 to 2021,and obtain the expansion of the built-up area of phase 5 of Chongli district from2013 to 2021.The change rate of built-up area in each phase is as follows: 2015-2017 >2017-2019 > 2019-2021 > 2013-2015.(3)The kernel density estimation method is used to analyze the data of interest points in Chongli district from 2013 to 2021,and obtain the aggregation results of interest points in the five periods from 2013 to 2021,so as to identify and focus the hot spots in Chongli district.(4)The visual analysis of the research results of multi-source data is carried out.The land use classification results,built-up area expansion results and hot spot focus results are superimposed with the real-time map respectively.The results show that the obvious expansion range of built-up areas and hot spots are mainly concentrated in the construction areas related to the Winter Olympic Games.The areas with high degree of change and trends in the research results of multi-source data are basically consistent,indicating that the research has high reliability,At the same time,it is emphasized that there is a strong correlation between land use change in Chongli district and the Winter Olympic Games.(5)According to the characteristics of land use change in Chongli District shown by the above results,the driving factors of land use change in Chongli district are qualitatively analyzed from the perspectives of society,nature and the Winter Olympic Games,so as to establish an appropriate index system,Then combined with the comprehensive index of land use change constructed by using the land use dynamic index and the change speed index of built-up areas,Grey Relational Analysis is used to screen the high correlation index.Finally,Principal Component Analysis method is used to calculate the score of the selected index,so as to realize the quantitative analysis of the driving factors of land use change in Chongli district.The order of component score coefficients of each high correlation index in the first principal component is as follows: added value of tertiary industry > ski income > per capita disposable income of rural residents > income in local financial budget > non-agricultural population > total retail sales of social consumer goods.The results show that policy factors and Winter Olympic factors are the main influencing factors of land use change in Chongli district.This paper has 26 figures,21 tables and 80 references.
