Fishery thematic electronic chart integrates multiple information such as marine geographic space,fishery environment and fishery operation status.Comprehensive expression advantages can provide scientific guidance for fishery production,management and resource utilization.It is one of the indispensable components of today’s fishery information equipment.With the development of marine fishery in recent years,some scientific research institutes and departments have accumulated a large number of ocean fishery data,including important data such as sea conditions,meteorology,fishing,production and ships,which provides an important basic data source for the production of fishery thematic electronic chart products.How to make full use of existing fishery data resources,produce and apply various fishery thematic chart products,ensure the safety of maritime navigation and develop fishery economy has been one of the hot issues in the research of marine,fishery and surveying and mapping departments at home and abroad.However,up to now,there is no unified standard and specification for the production and application of electronic charts on marine fisheries.Therefore,based on the current domestic chart production system,the establishment of a unified standard for fishery electronic chart vector data exchange and the standardization of fishery thematic electronic chart data are of great significance to the standardization,serialization and application of marine fishery thematic chart products.This paper takes the China’s Distant-water Fisheries Database as the research object,determines the main contents of fishery thematic information and classifies them.Based on the international standard of IHO S-57 electronic chart,through the analysis of its chart data model,data structure and object categories,and according to the main contents and characteristics of fishery thematic information,the data set identification field in the data set information record is extended,and the coding rules of marine fishery thematic electronic chart products are defined.Based on the principle of systematicness and compatibility,fishery thematic objects and thematic attributes are added to the objects and attribute categories,and some thematic attribute items(values)are added,so as to design the data organization scheme of fishery thematic electronic chart.Referring to the chart data standards and the chart database data dictionary,combined with the fishery thematic extension objects and their attributes,the structure of the fishery thematic chart source database is designed.At the same time,according to the analysis of the structural characteristics of the database,the conversion method using XML documents as the data carrier is adopted.According to the mapping relationship between the database table fields,the conversion rules of thematic data are designed.Finally,based on this data conversion technology and method,under the development environment of Visual C # 2010,the fishery thematic data conversion system is designed and developed.Based on the China’s Distant-water Fisheries Database,the standardized conversion and integration to the fishery thematic chart source database are realized through data extraction,data conversion and data storage.The innovations of this study are as follows:(1)Research and design the data organization scheme of fishery thematic electronic chart,which becomes the basis of standardized application of fishery thematic electronic chart.(2)The fusion and transformation method of fishery thematic data is studied and used.Using XML documents as the intermediate data carrier,the transformation rules of fishery thematic data are designed,which eliminates the semantic and structural conflicts between databases and realizes the fusion and transformation of fishery thematic data.(3)The fishery thematic chart source database is constructed,which can realize the connection with the standardized database of chart production system,and provide basic data source support for the production of fishery thematic chart products.The research results of this paper will be conducive to the integration,sharing and application of marine fishery information,promote the development of marine fishery informatization,promote the standardized R &D,production and application of fishery thematic electronic chart products,and provide more comprehensive and efficient standardized information service support for the research and utilization of fishery biological resources,fishery production and management,and the development of marine fishery economy.
