With the development of geographic information technology, the spatial data conversion which is one of the means of obtaining geographic spatial data plays a more and more important role in the construction of modern GIS. As the means in which geographical data are obtained is various,and the understanding and definition to geographic data structure of GIS institutes and companies varies greatly,there is a big difference between AutoCAD software and GIS software’ data format, which plays a great role on the transformation and integration of CAD data and GIS data, resulting in making a big problem that geographical data of the same types can not be shared and utilized in different institutes and companies.In recent years,the data conversion and sharing operation of geographic data with different formats has become one of the key research problem of the GIS information technology development.In view of the issue that conversion method of traditional data conversion means may easily lead to the problem of losing the data information, and it is difficult to achieve source data features’ reclassification and standardize features’ encodig,this paper proposes a new data conversion method based on standard format.According to the specification of basic geographic information classification and coding standard,this article designs two kinds of mapping tables,namely,geospatial data feature’s classification and encoding converion table of CASS DWG source data, successfully implement the "lossless conversion" and data conversion to geodatabase with standardized method,and use the kappa factor to evaluate the quality of the converted result data.Based on the geographical data of a city,this article carries on the theory research and demonstration experience, and draws the following conclusions: The difference between CAD data and GIS data formats is the main obstacle in the technology of these two kinds of data conversion,Based on fully understand the standard format,combined with detailed analysis to these two kinds of AutoCAD and ArcGIS data formats’ characteristics,and establishe the semantic mapping relation, realizing the data conversion; This paper proposes a new data conversion method based on standard format,namely,using semantic transformation technology to load the semantic mapping tables designed with the standard geospatial data format which includes the geographic features’ reclassification table and encoding conversion mapping table,construct the data conversion model and finish geospatial data’s conversion in batch way, which is one of the effective methods about data conversion with standardization means; This article puts forward a new method that using the kappa factor to realize the result data quality inspection is an effective tool for data conversion result’s quality evaluation.The research of this article is useful to the full use of geospatial data and helpful to the data updating and sharing,which can promote the development of basic geographic information data’s standardization conversion.At the end of this article,this paper makes a summary to the research coclusion and puts forward the prospect of future research directions of this research topic.
