Abstract/Summary:
With the increasing attention and application of historical geo-informatization by scholars, the use of research methods that combine geographic information systems, database technology, and social network analysis has become an important trend for scholars to conduct research.Ancient China has a large number of historical records and research monographs.Studying the relationship between historical figures from historical documents has enriched the research content of historical geography. The construction of the database is the basic work of the relationship between historical figures. When using historical documents for database construction, historical documents are unstructured, geospatial information description is uncertain, and the semantic information contained in classical Chinese is very general. There are certain difficulties in data collection, spatiotemporal data positioning, and the organization of historical character relationship data. This study takes " Biographies of Eminent Monks"(Gao Seng Zhuan)as the basic document, explores the method of collecting structured character relation data from historical text documents, and formulates corresponding extraction standards and principles for this special group of famous Buddhist monks;studies the characters of "Biographies of Eminent Monks " in the Six Dynasties Relational spatio-temporal data model, placing historical figures in a unified spatiotemporal framework, vectorizing historical maps of the Six Dynasties according to the time span of " Biographies of Eminent Monks ",converting time and year methods, establishing geographical names tables, regulating spatial positioning, and establishing a unified spatio-temporal framework,on this basis,an in-depth analysis of the database structure of the Chinese Biographical Database of Chinese Characters(CBDB),drawing on its data organization, improving the relationship structure of the CBDB characters, correlating the historical character relationship data together, and constructing " Biographies of Eminent Monks" Spatio-temporal data model of character relationship;finally, the character relationship database of monk and the geographic relationship information system of the character relationship of monk are established.By means of social network analysis and spatial and temporal analysis of geographic information system, this paper makes an exploratory analysis on the relationship, social relationship, mentorship relationship and geographical relationship of eminent monks. The main work and research results are as follows:(1)Text digitization, extracting structured character data and character relationship data from historical documents.Data collection is the foundation of the research on historical geographic information. It explores the extraction of structured data of historical character relationships from historical documents, and implements a series of "text annotationdata extraction-data processing-data verification-data encoding-data storage" process.Develop detailed and complete semantic annotation tags of " Biographies of Eminent Monks",mark the text through the combination of Markus online annotation tool and manual verification, summarize the senior monk’s personal information table to extract and process the senior monk’s attribute information Structured information data.(2)Formulate a unified historical spatiotemporal framework, and construct a spatiotemporal data model of historical characters in " The Biography of High Monks".The year number of the historical documents is uniformly converted to the year of the AD,and a standard time and six time sections are selected for different dynasties appearing in " Biographies of Eminent Monks",and the history corresponding to the six time sections in the Chinese History Atlas is used. The map is vectorized as a base map,and the spatial reference standards for different time series are established based on the vector map.The geographical positions of historical figures in the Six Dynasties are unified encoded.According to the characteristics of the relationship between the Buddhist characters in "Biographies of Eminent Monks",the shortcomings of the character relationship design in the CBDB are improved, and the organization coding method of the characters and the relationship of the characters in the "Biographies of Eminent Monks" is designed.Define four kinds of character relationships: kinship relationship, social relationship teacher relationship and geography relationship.Construct the historical and spatial data model of the characters in "Biographies of Eminent Monks".At the same time, this model can be expanded to be used to model the relationship of characters in other historical periods.(3)Designed the character relation database of the " Biography of the High Monk " and the digital information management platform of the " Biography of the High Monk ",combining social network analysis and geographic information system. The development of the digital information management platform of "Gaomon Biography" initially satisfied the query, modification and visualization of the basic information of the characters in "Biographies of Eminent Monks".Combining social network analysis with geographic information systems,an empirical study of the four character relationships in the article.Detailed analysis of the kinship relationship, teacher relationship, social relationship and geography relationship of the monk’s character relationship, and a detailed analysis of the case of "Fo Tucheng-Shi DaoanShi Huiyuan" to explore the development and influence of buddhism in the Six Dynasties.
