Method Study On Spatial Data Management And Information Sharing Technology

Spatial data management and information sharing is a very active research field in recent years. With the development of Internet and database technology, a new idea and solution is offered to manage the spatial data and information sharing. Followed the main topic of spatial data management and information sharing, Metadata was first discussed, then structure and organization of spatial data were analyzed. In the future years, distributed spatial database and spatial data warehouse may be the main solution for spatial data management. For the sharing methods technology research of Internet geographic information, the distributed geographic information sharing technology would be the developing direction and a sharing model of distributed geographic infonnation based on CORBA was established. In the last part of the paper, a system of spatial data management and information sharing technology based on C/S and B/S was established, which takes arge Scale Ocean Functional Regionalization Management Information System of Fujian Province?as an example. In this paper, the main progresses were as follows: 1. Metadata standard and content on igital Fujian?was established. Metadata management system based on Internet was designed and implemented, which settled technology foundation for spatial data management and information sharing. 2. Spatial data management organizing scheme based on distributed database and spatial data warehouse was put forward. 3. A spatial data sharing model integrating metadata and data set was put forward. 4. A system of spatial data management and information sharing technology based on C/S and B/S was established.
