Case Service Study Of Stress Relief In Caregivers Of Adult Disabled Person

China has a large base of people with disabilities,accounting for 6.38% of the total population.Influenced by traditional concepts and economic factors,most disabled people live at home,and the care work is mainly undertaken by their families.Compared with ordinary caregivers,caregivers of adult disabled people face more serious pressure and difficulties.In the families of adults with disabilities,with the growth of caregivers' age and the decline of physical function,daily care work becomes more and more difficult.On the basis of completing daily chores such as laundry,cooking and urination,it is more worried about the future of disabled children,gradually causing multiple physical,psychological and social pressures on caregivers.In order to avoid the occurrence of malignant events,It is particularly important to alleviate the pressure on family caregivers of adults with disabilities.This study takes g,a caregiver of an adult disabled person in D community in Shanghai,as the research object.Using participatory observation,interview and scale methods,combined with case work methods,this study provides stress relief services for G.Through the systematic evaluation of the case owner,this study analyzes the source of multiple stress and the existing problems of the case owner,and finds that the case owner G is mainly faced with the dilemma of physiological,psychological,economic,social and multiple stress interaction.With the support of social support theory and ABC theory,the service plan was formulated and nine case work interventions were carried out,which achieved the following effects:(1)changing the irrational beliefs of the case owner;(2)Help the case owner obtain a stable source of income;(3)Establish a support network for peer groups.Alleviate the economic pressure and care pressure of the case owner to a certain extent.Finally,the whole intervention service is evaluated and summarized,and the following conclusions are drawn:(1)the causes of caregiver pressure of disabled groups are multifaceted,and we need to solve the caregiver problem with the help of multiple forces;(2)Peer support is an important support system for disabled families in addition to family support,which plays a vital role in relieving caregivers' stress;(3)Case work has a certain effect in alleviating the pressure of caregivers,but it has high requirements for the comprehensive quality of social workers.Social workers should have basic psychological knowledge and the ability to use resources.
