Love And Obstacles Of Old Men Caring Old Men In The Family

Since ancient times,the family has always played an important role in supporting the elderly.In the background of rapid development of aging society,the care of the elderly has become increasingly prominent.In the process of family supporting,the elderly are no longer just the "dependents" in society and the family,the elderly have also begun to become "caregivers".The phenomenon of the old men caring old men is becoming more and more common.Family elderly caregivers have become a new way to alleviate the difficulties of family care.This article takes the family elderly caregivers in the old men caring old men phenomenon as the research object.On the basis of collecting and consulting relevant literature,using the research methods of qualitative research,interviews with 10 elderly family caregivers.And this paper focus on the family care relationship,care experience and care needs of elderly caregiversResearch has found that in the old men caring old men,the status of the person being cared for,the role of the caregiver and the family relationship are different in different care families,which also leads to the difference in the care experience of the elderly caregivers.In the early stage of care,the negative experience of elderly caregivers is more obvious,manifested as the impact of physical,psychological,social participation,and economic pressure.During the continuous care period,the negative and positive experiences coexist in elderly caregivers.Negative experiences are transformed from impact pressures to habitual pressures.And the elderly caregivers also feel emotional satisfaction,self-achievement,demonstrations of their children and the resulting children's feedback during the long-term care.The pressure of elderly caregivers in the care process has further promoted needs for care,including basic needs and developmental needs.Fundamental needs are the basic needs for maintaining care,including physical and financial needs.Developmental needs,including spiritual needs,social participation needs and care support needs,are key to relieving the stress of elderly caregivers.The needs of elderly caregivers show the need for support from the elderly caregivers themselves,families,communities and governments.It can be concluded that in the old men caring old men,although the elderly have taken a lot of pressure as caregivers,they have also benefited from it.It is a parallel process of "love" and "obstruction".In order to effectively continue the phenomenon of the old men caring old men,and to further develop the value of the elderly.First of all,it is necessary to support the elderly families from the policy level.At the same time,the government,the community,and the family should provide all-round social support for them according to the needs of elderly caregivers.
