Group Work Practical Research On The Construction Of The Neighborhood Mutual Aid Network For The Elderly Living Alone In The City

The elderly living alone,as a vulnerable group in the city,face the risk of death in an empty nest and loneliness due to the lack of children visiting,lack of spiritual comfort,and lack of life care.In addition,the frequency of mutual assistance among urban neighbors has decreased and the number of elderly people has increased,the burden of community pensions has increased,and social support for the elderly living alone is insufficient.Neighborhood support,as an important source of support,not only reduces the burden of community care,but also plays an important role in the spiritual comfort and life care of the elderly living alone.It can be seen that it is very important to build a neighborhood mutual aid network for the elderly living alone.This study uses the social support network theory,adopts the group social work method,and combines intra-group mutual assistance and external organizational assistance to build a neighborhood mutual assistance network for the elderly living alone.This study takes the elderly living alone in Y community as the research object,through on-the-spot investigation of available resources in the community,and collecting data by means of questionnaires and interviews,to analyze the current situation of the elderly living alone and the mutual assistance network of neighbors.In the early stage of the group,a neighborhood mutual aid group was formed to stimulate the mutual aid awareness of the group members.In the mid-term of the group,the mutual aid group is used as a platform.While helping each other within the group,social workers play an intermediary role in linking resources for group members,and provide daily care volunteer services and community group care services.The effect of post-group consolidation activities.Therefore,social workers,with their unique professional advantages,give full play to the role of intermediaries,and build a neighborhood mutual assistance network of offline mutual assistance and online mutual assistance for the elderly living alone by means of mutual assistance within the group and assistance from outside organizations.This research further promotes the harmonious relationship between neighbors,strengthens the social support force of the elderly living alone,and promotes the social integration of the elderly living alone,which is of great significance for solving the pension problem of the elderly living alone.
