Economic system change caused by the huge employment impact,social employment concept under the network information age,and great changes in the form of employment,the industrial structure changes caused by the social employment structure adjustment,etc.,in the Labour market this a series of reform puts forward new requirements for Labour,especially to bear the dual role in the market and the family life of women workers.It is linked with China’s current economic and social transformation and industrial structure adjustment,which produces a special group of economic difficulties in urban areas--unemployed women.The living conditions of these groups urgently need the understanding and attention of the government and the public.The solution of this population problem is not only conducive to women seeking economic independence and self-development,but also of great significance to promoting harmonious social development and gender equality.The existing researches on the capacity building of unemployed women in China are mostly limited to the theoretical discussion at the macro level.In order to make up for the deficiency of theoretical and practical research,this study,based on the perspective of empowerment,regards unemployed women as subjects with the potential to change the current situation,and emphasizes the initiative of the target group.Group work is used to intervene in unemployed women’s ability construction,and the effective way of social work to intervene in unemployed women’s ability construction is discussed.This study takes 36 unemployed women in H community of T City as th e research object.Through needs analysis,it is concluded that unemployed wo men have disability in three aspects: improvement of employment skills,self-co gnition ability and group communication ability.This paper selects the empowe rment theory as the guidance,recruited 12 unemployed women in the communi ty to carry out "help her" growth--unemployed women empowerment mutual aid group ".In the process of program design,"capacity building" is divided i nto two levels: personal level and interpersonal level.The personal level includ es employment skills and self-cognition ability,and the interpersonal level inclu des group communication ability.At the same time,the three abilities involved in the two levels are operationalized into five dimensions: "professional skills","self-evaluation","pressure relief","self-confidence" and "interpersonal commun ication".Based on the evaluation of the group process and effectiveness,it is f ound that the group work method has obvious effect on the capacity building of unemployed women,so as to get the key content of social work involved i n the capacity building of unemployed women and the countermeasures and su ggestions to enhance the capacity of unemployed women from the perspective of empowerment. |
