In the 1980 s,the theory of multiple intelligences received the attention and attention of many educational researchers as soon as it was put forward,this theory is an important theory about the development of human cognitive mode and intelligent structure,which can provide a strong theoretical support for promoting the development of human intelligence.Related research shows that the theory of multiple intelligences is in good agreement with the concept of quality education promoted in China.With the in-depth advancement of my country’s education reform,the use of multiple intelligences theory to guide the research on related topics of education reform has become a hot content of education research.In recent years,the theory of multiple intelligences has obtained fruitful research results in education,and there are also many researches in physical education teaching,but the applied research in middle school physical education teaching is relatively scarce.Therefore,this article is based on the existing research results.Combining the current application status of multiple intelligence theory in middle school physical education classrooms and the characteristics of students’ intelligence,carry out systematic experimental investigation and research analysis.This article uses questionnaires,interviews and teaching experiment methods to carry out teaching experiments in Ganzhou No.3 Middle School.Students in the second two classes are randomly selected as the research objects.The experimental investigation and research are divided into experimental classes under the theory of multiple intelligences and traditional teaching.The control class under the guidance of theory explores the feasibility of applying the theory of multiple intelligences to middle school physical education.The following conclusions are put forward through data analysis and experimental result analysis:(1)The application of multiple intelligence theory to middle school physical education is conducive to enhancing the basic physical fitness of students.The research results show that there are very significant differences between the two classes of students’ music rhythm intelligence,body movement intelligence,and one-minute rope skipping(P<0.01),mainly The reason is that middle school physical education under the guidance of multiple intelligences theory uses music to change the rhythm and frequency of exercise training,thereby improving students’ one-minute rope skipping performance and promoting the development of students’ physical movement ability.(2)Research shows that under the guidance of multiple intelligences theory,student sports performances have been significantly improved.The physical performance of the students in the experimental class and the control class was tested with independent samples,and the results showed that the difference was highly significant.Integrating the theory of multiple intelligences into middle school physical education is conducive to improving students’ cognition of intelligence,promoting the development of students’ sports intelligence,and improving their academic performance.(3)The results of integrating the theory of multiple intelligences into middle school physical education show that the learning interests of the two classes of students are significantly different(P<0.01).The study found that the students in the experimental class showed higher learning enthusiasm and more initiative than the students in the control class,indicating that the multiple intelligence theory adopts multiple teaching methods in middle school physical education teaching,and pays more attention to the interaction between teachers and students and between students.Pay attention to the psychological changes of the students,and then increase the students’ interest in learning.(4)Under the guidance of the theory of multiple intelligences,the interpersonal cooperation ability of the students in the experimental class before and after the experiment was found to be significantly different through the paired sample T test(P<0.05).At the same time,it can be seen from the data of the one-minute-long rope skipping competition that the total number of skipping ropes in the experimental class is more,the number of mistakes is less,and the response to mistakes is faster.It shows that in the teaching experiment process,the group encourages mutual communication and cooperation,which promotes the improvement of students’ interpersonal cooperation ability.
