| Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has proposed the new concept of cultivating young Marxists for undergraduates,and clarified the importance of cultivating young Marxists for undergraduates for the successors of the party’s cause,the prosperity of the country,and the healthy growth of youth.Since the implementation of the "Young Marxist" training project in 2007,after more than ten years of development,a large number of youth reserve forces have been cultivated for the party and the country.In June 2020,the Communist Youth League Central Committee and the five ministries and commissions issued a notice on the "Opinions on Deepening the Implementation of the Young Marxist Training Project",which provided more detailed guidelines for the training of young Marxists for undergraduates.In this context,studying the current issue of the cultivation of young Marxists for undergraduates is conducive to cultivating a large number of newcomers of the era who have firm political stances,outstanding professional abilities,and can take on the task of national rejuvenation.This research focuses on the cultivation of young Marxists for undergraduates,and using literature research method,historical analysis method and questionnaire survey method to systematically study the core concepts,theoretical basis,historical process,existing problems and countermeasures of the cultivating of young Marxists for undergraduates.First of all,it defines the core concepts of young Marxists and young Marxists of undergraduates.On this basis,it discusses the theoretical basis for the cultivation of young Marxists for undergraduates,namely,the Marxist youth outlook and the important statements of Chinese Communists on the cultivation of young Marxists.Secondly,using historical analysis methods,the historical process of cultivating young Marxists for undergraduates is divided into the stage of cultivating revolutionary vanguards,the stage of cultivating red and dedicated successors,the stage of cultivating socialist builders and successors,and cultivating newcomers of the era who are responsible for national rejuvenation.Third,the questionnaire survey method is used to distribute to students of comprehensive,science and engineering,medicine,teacher training and art universities,including 985 universities,211 universities,key provincial universities,key universities jointly built by provincial ministries and commissions,and ordinary universities.According to the questionnaire analysis,there are problems in the current cultivating process,such us the coverage of the training objects need to expand,the understanding of the training objectives need to deepen,the training content need to enrich,the training methods need to diversify,and the training organization management and evaluation mechanism need to improve.Finally,based on the actual problems in the current cultivating process,countermeasures such as expanding the coverage of training objects,strengthening the publicity of training goals,enriching training content,designing diversified training methods,and improving training management mechanisms are proposed.Aiming to promote cultivating of young Marxists for undergraduates further developed. |
