In recent years,with the further development of the concept of new curriculum reform,all the countries and organizations all over the world have picked the construction and improvement of key competencies system as one important objective of their educational system.The main elements of biology key competencies include life concept,logical thinking,scientific exploration and social responsibility.At present,a lot of teaching methods have been proved to be of great help to develop the students' biology key competence,such as flipped class,model-construction based,guided teaching plan,PBL,5E.However,there are few applied researches concerning guided teaching plan.The writer has conducted such applied research and has made some achievements,hoping to offer reference and guidance to the peers.Based on abundant literatures,periodicals and books,the paper focuses on the analysis of the following aspects:the content and the approaches to cultivate the key competencies of biology in senior high schools,the connotation of teaching with guided learning plan as well as the significances of developing the students' biology key competencies by applying guided-learning plans to the teaching process of biology.It can be concluded that the characteristics of guided-learning teaching is in line with the requirements for classes focusing on key competencies.According to relevant pedagogical and physiological theories,this paper deals with how to make guided-learning plans in accordance with the requirements of key competencies.In order to show how to make guided-learning teaching plans more effective in biology teaching,this paper also presents a specific case and how its application process in the practice of teaching.After that,questionnaires and interviews are carried out to get to know the teachers and students' attitudes towards guided-learning teaching plans.According to the findings,the paper presents the basic principles for guided-learning teaching plans in line with requirements put forward by the key competencies.At last it summarizes the research findings and put forward some suggestions on further research.It has been suggested that guided teaching plan is a well-established teaching mode and it is accessible to teachers and students.This kind of teaching mode is beneficial to developing students'abilities to self-learning and inquiry learning.Besides,the flexibility and scalability of its structure is of great help to offering life-background teaching situation.All theses advantages above is in accordance with the requirements for developing students'biology key competences.Through applied researches,we found that guided teaching plan can not only make it easier for the students to comprehend the concept of life,but also can develop their abilities of logical thinking and inquiry.Thus,the students can apply what they have learned into reality on their own initiative.The paper is inadequate in the following aspects:short period,less experimental samples and so on.
