At present,the Teaching Economics of Western is becoming more and more prominent,but through the literature the author analysis,interviews,investigations, the author observed that there are many colleges and universities that have this course are not with high quality. How to improve the quality of Western economics teaching,there are lots of researchers,but most researchers' study focus on the reformation of teaching content,on curriculum and on the factors of students and teachers,but a few researches are about the influence of teaching model on teaching quality of Western economics.Teaching model is linked the teaching thinking,teaching philosophy and the activities of teaching.It is not only a specific teaching idea, teaching concept,but also a generalization of teaching practice.The improvement of teaching mode belong to deep-rooted reformation of the teaching,studay the teaching model and teaching of Western economics is very important significance.Study different types of teaching model how to influence the quality of Western economics course teaching and how to set out from actuality.The proper selection of the teaching model to improve the quality of teaching Western economics is the purpose of this study and writing.Mathords of literature analysis,case studies,interviews and field observations are adopted in this study.Papers in the "Teaching Western Economics is not the lack of reference,the model can be used,but the lack of a teaching model for many types of profound understanding and use of flexible and creative " under the premise this idea,Therefore, the main content and main purpose is:by combining the contents of the characteristics of Western economics,as well as the characteristics of the current times and students. analysis the merits and defects and the scopes of application about the traditional teaching mode and modern teaching mode in westen economics teaching dialectical and deeply detail,in order to achieve the appropriate use the different types of teaching model,which factors of other teaching relative stability,it can be a substantial increase the quality of teaching in Western economics courses.It's essential is application to study Western economics teaching how to creatively use the original teaching mode,not how to build a new teaching model. In this paper,the results of study are that by analyzing the operation about traditional teaching mode and modern teaching mode in Western economics,drawn for different specific types of content should be the use different kinds of teaching models and improve the quality of teaching conclusions.Thus,teachers can understand the important of the teaching modes of education correctly to promote teachers explor in their teaching unceasingly,continue to try and create a new model process of teaching and could obtain some enlightenments from this study.In addition,this study uses case-finding,interviews and other methods to offer the empirical cases for conclusions of the theoretical analysis from different perspective.
