To set up higher general education to meet the employment requirements of the era of knowledge economy is an important way to increase the knowledge reserve of employees,enhance their employability and cultural literacy,and also an effective measure to promote the comprehensive and coordinated development of students and improve their comprehensive quality.In the future,knowledge will change more rapidly and social division of labor will become more refined,which means more talents with professional knowledge are needed.Therefore,the integration of general education and professional education has become a necessary choice to improve the high-quality development of education.During visit to Tsinghua University,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that we should train socialist builders and successors who are well-developed morally,intellectually,physically,aesthetically,and labor.Higher education must vigorously promote the development of general education and improve the quality of personnel training.In this paper,the general education curriculum management of C University in Shanxi Province will provide reference for the implementation of general education in financial and economic colleges in China,and try to help colleges and universities build a general education curriculum management system in line with their own reality.Based on Taylor's theory of curriculum principle,general education theory,comprehensive human development theory and management by Objectives theory,this study adopts methods such as literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and statistical analysis to study the current situation of general education curriculum management in sample colleges and universities.First of all,the paper tests the reliability and validity of the curriculum objectives,curriculum setting,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation of general education curriculum management,and interviews relevant personnel.Secondly,according to the results of statistical analysis and interviews,data and tables are used to visually display the status quo of general education courses in sample colleges and universities,so as to clarify the baseline direction of implementing general education in sample colleges and universities.Furthermore,by referring to the experience of implementing general education in universities at home and abroad,it provides ideas for the management of general education courses in financial institutions.Finally,according to the current situation of general education curriculum management in sample institutions,reasonable countermeasures and suggestions are provided for financial institutions to construct perfect general education curriculum.Based on the research of general education courses in finance and economics colleges,the following suggestions are put forward: First,define the curriculum objectives of general education,that is,cultivate students who can think,communicate,have judgment and have value discrimination by taking general education courses as the carrier.Second,clarify the needs of general education curriculum,that is,meet the actual needs of students and serve the needs of social development.Third,set up a general education institutions specializing in order to strengthen the management of school teachers to ensure the smooth implementation of a curriculum.Fourthly,the evaluation system of general education should be constructed to improve the curriculum of general education.
