With the continuous progress and development of our country,the population is constantly increasing.In recent years,the number of floating population in China's social population has been growing rapidly.Data on the population of Chinese children in 2015 showed that there were 34.26 million floating population under the age of 18,accounting for 12.65% of the total number of children in China.Among them,there were 9.34 million school-age floating children,accounting for 27.26 percent of the total number of floating children.Due to the different areas of living environment,social environment,learning styles and the perspective of looking at things and has a huge difference,plus from new urban social prejudice and discrimination of the floating population,the floating children appeared in the new residence interpersonal tension and sensitive and emotional imbalance,mental health problems such as loneliness.Through the investigation and analysis of the J community in Urumqi,the author scientifically selected 10 school-age floating children who migrated to the city for research and analysis.The research results show that the research subjects have some mental health problems.Through case management mode,the author has carried out behavior correction,campus themed class meeting,5:30 class,integration group of floating children and non-floating children,psychological counseling and other services for the floating children in the growth center.Through three months of professional services,the mental health problems of the floating children in the school have been alleviated,which proves that it is feasible for social work to intervene in the mental health problems of the floating children,and provides a certain practical basis for the mental health education of adolescents in Xinjiang.
