With the advent of a new round of industrial revolution,the production patterns,organizational forms and talent needs of countries are undergoing dramatic changes.The talent structure is destratified,the skills are operated in high-end,it has become a fundamental feature of the talent work model under the background of intelligent manufacturing.The impact on vocational education is global and fundamental.Comparing the coping strategies of different countries and drawing on the development experience of other countries,it has great reference value for the strategic choice of vocational education in China.This paper selects representative Switzerland and Austria as the research object,based on the theory of skill formation and corporatism,in the process of combing the formation of skills in the two countries,from the high trend of vocational education system and the integration of vocational education and general education.The two dimensions of the trend compare the differences between the vocational education systems of the two countries.Based on this,the research framework was constructed to analyze the choice of skills preferences in the context of technological advancement and industrial change in the third round of industrial revolution,and then to reflect on the strategic choice of vocational education in China under the background of intelligent manufacturing.Secondly,based on the above research framework,the two countries compare the development strategies of different vocational education selected in the third round.Switzerland is dominated by large enterprises.Under the influence of the choice of skills preferences of large employers and the protection policies of weak industries,Switzerland pays more attention to the general skills training and continuous updating of skills.Austria is dominated by small and medium-sized enterprises.Under the influence of the skill preference choices of SME employers and the strong industry protection policies,Austria focuses on the cultivation of specialized skills.The different choices of leading skills by major companies in the two countries have led to significant differences in the capabilities and strategies of the two countries in responding to industrial changes and structural adjustments.Finally,the conclusion of the study is to compare the above two models,summarize their experiences and deficiencies,and clarify the strategic choices of vocational education that the two countries face in the face of technological progress under the influence of different social institutional backgrounds.This is an important reference for the strategic choice of vocational education in China under the background of new economic and new technologies.
