The new generation of information technology represented by artificial intelligence technology is changing with each passing day,which has had a revolutionary impact on many industries,and has also become an important driving force for promoting high-quality development of economy and society.Without exception,the publishing industry has undergone earth-shaking changes under the influence of technology,facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges.Only by seizing the huge bonus brought about by technological development can the publishing industry move forward more powerfully.As a new strength in the field of science and technology,governments at all levels have also issued relevant preferential support policies to promote the integration and implementation of artificial intelligence technology in all walks of life.The publishing industry has unique advantages in content resources.How to seize the development trend of artificial intelligence technology and enable the industry to successfully realize digital and intelligent transformation is an issue that every publishing institution has to think about,and it is also a reflection on the way of survival and development in the future.This paper takes the development and application of artificial intelligence as the technical background,takes the content production and presentation form of the publishing industry as the research object,and uses research methods such as case analysis and comparative analysis.And this paper explores the specific application of artificial intelligence in processes of content production and the changes and upgrades of the presentation form under the influence of technology.In addition,this paper reflects on the problems existing in the application practice,and propose corresponding optimization strategies.The contents of each part are as follows: the first chapter introduces the research background and significance,research status,research methods,innovations and related concepts;the second chapter expounds the application and industrial practice cases of artificial intelligence technology applying to the following four publishing processes: topic planning,content creation,reviewing and editing;the third chapter analyzes the application status of various forms of publishing products under the background of artificial intelligence,including databases,APPs,VR/AR products,3D code fusion media and overall solution of publishing;the fourth chapter analyzes the existing problems of content production and presenting from five perspectives: homogenization of topic selection,ethics and copyright,low level of intelligence,product form is a mere formality,and lack of technology and talents;the fifth chapter puts forward optimization strategies such as strengthening technical research,perfecting laws and regulations and building talent system in response to the above problems.
