As the basis of information technology,the chip plays a role as the cornerstone in the information facilities.Although chip manufacturing is of complex process and expensive cost,the threshold for counterfeiting is quite low.Huge economic benefits and asymmetric risks have encouraged the rise and proliferation of counterfeit chips.As the value of chips increases,the bad phenomenon of counterfeit chips is more common.The number of counterfeit and inferior chips has a serious impact on the entire chip industry and related industries that rely on chips.Counterfeit and inferior chips not only caused the abnormal development of the chip industry,but also brought potential security risks and major economic losses to various industries,especially the unpredictable systemic risks brought to information infrastructure.In order to deal with the huge threat of counterfeit and inferior chips to electronic systems,it is necessary to study the detection technology for counterfeit and inferior chips to build identity-trusted chip.In order to realize the identity detection of counterfeit chips,the chip needs to contain an anti-counterfeiting design that characterizes the identity.To that,this thesis designs a scheme of embedding chip ID and embedded authentication circuit in the chip to authenticate chip identity.Based on the idea of characterizing the unique identity with the chip ID,this thesis analyzes the authentication requirements according to the process of the chip authentication,and then designs a chip ID authentication mechanism based on reliable encryption authentication technology.Next,this thesis designs an embedded authentication circuit based on the mechanism,which can support the authentication of the chip ID by the host computer.Further,this thesis also physically implements the embedded authentication circuit based on the 0.13?m process.In order to verify the anti-counterfeiting effect of the chip ID authentication scheme,this thesis implements the embedded authentication circuit based on ZYNQ7020,and builds a verification platform for the scheme in conjunction with the host computer software.This thesis completes multiple verifications of the chip ID authentication scheme on the platform,including the hybrid verification of authorized and unauthorized chip IDs,the verification of authorized chip ID duplicate authentication,and the verification of anti-cloning chip ID.The verification results show that the scheme can not only achieve effective authentication of chip ID,but also support repeated authentication of chip ID.
