In the process of urban image communication,Douyin short video App has played an important role and become a new window for urban image communication.It is no accident that Douyin,a short video App,has created a series of "web celebrity cities".In this study,the literature research method and comparative research method were used to discuss the communication relationship between Douyin short video App and urban image.The combination of Douyin short video App and urban image in communication is manifested in the mutual conversion of target groups,the two-way matching of content positioning,and the value mechanism of mutual benefit.The correspondence in communication promotes a win-win situation for Douyin short video App to spread the city image.Douyin short video App empower urban image innovation,and urban image boosts the commercial layout of Douyin short video App.The co-frequency resonance of the two amplifies the influence and results in the phenomenal spread of "web celebrity City".However,with the deepening of the communication relationship between the Douyin short video App and the urban image,there are some problems in the integration of the two sides.Douyin short video App enjoys the commercial value brought by the communication of city image,but ignores the social responsibility that should be undertaken as a media,which makes the cultural connotation of city image decondified and the communication of city image homogenized.At the same time,the city image also affects the healthy development of Douyin short video App.In order to further expand the communication value,combined with the existing cases of Douyin short video APP spreading city image,this paper puts forward adjustment and optimization strategies.Douyin short video APP should adhere to the communication concept of social responsibility first,improve the content production mode,enhance the social attributes,and make up for the defects of centralized algorithm.The city image should enrich the cultural connotation of the city,innovate the way for users to experience the city image,perfect the communication mechanism,and help to establish a more complete and healthy city image communication system.
