Since the reform and opening up,the level of urbanization in my country has continued to increase,and the competition between cities has become increasingly fierce.The competitiveness of a city is mainly reflected through the shaping and dissemination of the city image.A good city image,on the one hand,can fully demonstrated the city's character and culture,arousing concern for this city,and other cities to promote the expansion of economic exchanges,in order to attract a large number of elements of capital,talent,technology,enhance competitiveness;on the other hand,On the one hand,a good city image can unite citizens,enhance citizens' sense of ownership and social responsibility,encourage citizens to consciously contribute to urban progress,and build and maintain a good city image.Therefore,For the development of various undertakings such as urban economy and spirituality,the image of the city has become a key element and needs to be paid attention to by the various subjects of urban image communication.In recent years,Linfen has been in a period of industrial transformation,and has gradually shifted the city's pillar industries from the coal industry to the cultural tourism industry.In order to better promote the development of the cultural tourism industry and attract domestic and foreign tourists,it is necessary to create a better city image.And through the short video platform of Douyin,many cities in China,including Chongqing,Xi'an,and Chengdu,have successfully spread the image of the city,driving a significant increase in urban economic benefits.How to make good use of the Douyin short video platform and combine the current media ecology to better shape and spread the city image of Linfen is a problem that we need to pay attention to.This paper attempts to analyze the city image of Linfen on the Douyin platform from the perspective of city image communication.Select the short videos with the TOP200 likes under the topic "Linfen,Shanxi" as a sample,analyze from the perspectives of the short video dissemination body,video theme,content tendency and presentation method,and find that the Linfen city image in the current Douyin short video is mainly It appears as a tourist city and a convenient city.However,the lack of planning for urban image communication,strong commercialization,insufficient cultural connotation,and content homogeneity are relatively problematic.On this basis,the author puts forward relevant suggestions,such as the government's top-level design,deep digging into cultural characteristics,and at the same time adapting to the Douyin platform,so as to better spread the city image of Linfen.This research is based on the construction of the Tik Tok short video platform on the urban image of Linfen.The most basic and most important thing is that it can provide a certain reference value for the urban communication of Linfen;at the same time,the author tries to apply this new media representative type from short video to explore The strategy of urban communication using it as a way contributes to the study of urban image communication in the new media environment.
