Study On The Report Current Situation And Narrative Strategy Of Alzheimer's Disease ——Taking Xinmin Evening News,Health Times And Guangzhou Daily As Examples

As of 2019,there are 10 million Alzheimer's disease(AD)patients in China.According to relevant studies,by 2050,there are about 30.03 million patients with Alzheimer's disease in China,the prevalence rate will reach 6%-7%,and the proportion of patients over 80 years old is close to 50%,coupled with the fact that there is no effective drug for the treatment of AD,it is foreseeable that the lives and health of the elderly will be seriously affected by Alzheimer's disease.In order to effectively reduce the threat,it is urgent to carry out scientific prevention and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.As the main disseminator of information,the news practice of the media helps to create an atmosphere of scientific prevention and treatment and improve the medical literacy of the people.Based on this,this paper will focus on the media communication of Alzheimer's disease,analyze the media news reports from the two dimensions of content presentation and text expression,and strive to have an overall understanding and grasp of the current situation of media communication.Specifically,the content presentation dimension starts from the basic status of Alzheimer's disease reports and the image of patients,and the text expression starts from the narrative aspect.Considering the representativeness of the media,this paper selects Xinmin Evening News,Health Times and Guangzhou Daily as the target media,and takes 539 reports on Alzheimer's disease in the three newspapers from 2016 to 2021 as the analysis sample.The specific structure of the article is as follows:The first chapter is the introduction chapter,which explains the theoretical basis,research methods and research design of this paper.The second chapter is the analysis of the basic status of Alzheimer's disease reports.Firstly,the samples are analyzed by descriptive statistics.Secondly,on the basis of analysis,the problems existing in the reports are summarized.The third chapter summarizes the characteristics of the image of patients in this report.For example,the patient's educational background is misleading.The fourth chapter is the narrative strategy analysis chapter.From the synchronic and diachronic perspectives,it summarizes the narrative strategies of Alzheimer's disease reports,and explores the problems existing in the narrative.The fifth chapter is the suggestion chapter.Based on the previous analysis,it puts forward improvement suggestions from three aspects: reporting status,patient image presentation and news narration.For example,we should broaden the social and cultural perspective of the report and improve the comprehensiveness of the report;In the presentation of patients' images;it is proposed to use children's metaphors with caution to maintain the dignity of patients;In narrative,we should abandon the negative name of Alzheimer's disease and realize the purpose of weakening stereotype.
