With the development of social economy,material life is getting richer and richer,people begin to pay more attention to the enjoyment of spiritual entertainment.Music,as a part of popular culture,has a wide audience base and is an important carrier for the general public to get spiritual enjoyment.And music variety shows have gained wide recognition by virtue of their musicality,entertainment and popularity,and become an important part of TV entertainment programs.In recent years,due to the development of network technology,music variety shows have gained new forms of presentation and dissemination,and their market share has become larger and larger,and their influence has become more and more prominent,making them a research object of increasing attention in the academic field.From the perspective of field theory,this paper takes the music variety show"Summer of the Band" created by IQIYI as a case study,embedding its production and dissemination practices into the overall social structure dimension to analyze the inner communication logic and communication effects of the music variety show.This paper first clarifies the background and significance of the study in the introductory section,identifies the research methodology,and compares the status quo of relevant domestic and international research,which provides rich research experience and research perspectives and lays a solid theoretical and practical foundation for the study.In Chapter 2,the author composes and defines the concepts of field theory and the field of music variety shows,and determines the theoretical perspective of the article.In Chapter 3,the author outlines music variety shows and their development history,clarifies the representativeness of "Summer of the Band" as a research case,and analyzes the field of music variety shows from macroscopic and microscopic perspectives,respectively.First,we analyze the influence of the social field on the field of music variety shows from a macro perspective,in which the economic,cultural,and technological fields play an indispensable role and have an important impact on the field shape and dissemination of music variety shows."The programs build symbolic order through the shaping of visual symbols,auditory symbols and character symbols,exert "symbolic power" on audiences,and influence audiences' cognition,attitude and behavior by creating idol worship and cultural identity,so as to realize the influence of the program field By creating idolatry and cultural identity,it influences the audience's cognition,attitude and behavior,and achieves the continuous expansion of the program's influence.Based on this,Chapter4 analyzes the communication characteristics and effects of music variety shows in the context of the field,and designs an online questionnaire to empirically study the communication effects.However,in this process,music variety shows are plagued by homogenization and vulgarization due to the excessive intervention of capital and technology fields.Therefore,this paper analyzes the existing problems in the construction and dissemination of music variety shows in Chapter 5,and proposes corresponding optimization measures and suggestions in light of the current market environment.Faced with the problems of misplaced worship and homogenization in the dissemination of music variety shows,the only way to improve the dissemination effect of music variety shows and achieve the benign development of the music variety industry is to build a differentiated dissemination field centered on audience habits,continuously improve the quality of the programs,and convey the correct values of the field.
