A Study On The Narrative Strategy Of Network Popular Science Video Hosts ——A Case Study Of The Graduation Work Curiosity Club

In the modern social life with continuous innovation of science and technology,There is a strong interest in,and demand for,scientific knowledge that encompasses everything.Internet science videos are well liked by the majority of Internet users because of their fragmentation and popularization characteristics.This is inseparable from the flexible and up-to-date narrative strategies of online video hosts.This paper takes the author's graduation work "Curiosity Club" as an example,combines the popular online science video cases in recent year,Using literature analysis method,case study method and other research methods,discussed narrative strategy of online science video hosts in four aspects,such as narrative expression,planning,subject and mode,with the help of narratology,planning and other related theories.It is found that the multi-level,multi-variable and multi-angle narrative strategies of the Internet science video hosts can mobilize the audience's enthusiasm for receiving knowledge and enhance the visibility of the video content,so that they can better achieve the ultimate purpose of popularizing scientific knowledge to the general public.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,including the research background and significance,research status,research methods and the introduction of the graduation work "Curiosity Club".The second part discusses the host's copywriting and dubbing planning from the perspective of the host's planning with content as the main body,so as to analyze the host's interesting narrative planning.The third part discusses the dissolution of the central position of the host,the generalization of the role and its causes,and finds that the host can better enhance the audience's participation by using the strategy of narrative subject decentralization to establish an equal and mutual relationship with the audience.The fourth part analyzes the strategies of the host's diversified narrative ways from the perspective of the host's narrative perspective and methods.The fifth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the main viewpoints and contents of this paper,and prospects the development of narration of network popular science video hosts.
