With the diversification of the development of modern wireless communication systems,the antenna as its core component needs to be reformed and updated to adapt to the development trend of science and technology.The pattern reconfigurable antenna can change the shape of the pattern or the radiation direction of the main beam in real time to meet the requirements of the antenna radiation pattern in various fields.In this paper,the design of the pattern reconfigurable antenna array based on beam switching is completed by radionally designing the antenna array radiating element and the multi-channel reconfigurable feeding network.This paper designs a two-element reconfigurable antenna array.Firstly,a cross-placed printed dipole antenna is designed to make the antenna bandwidth reach 45%by coupling;then a reconfigurable power division network is designed,which controls the turn-on and turn-off of 7 PIN diodes through a DC bias circuit to control the transmission path of the radio frequency signal,the network has three transmission states.The simulation shows that the loss in the three transmission states of the network is between 0.4d B-0.8d B,and the network loss is between 0.9d B-1.5d B after processing and testing;Then connect the network and the unit to construct a binary reconfigurable antenna array,and realize the switch between the three working states of the antenna through switch control.The S11 of the three states between 1.7GHz-2.7GHz is less than-10d B;finally The reconstructed antenna array is used as the feed source and applied to the plane Luneberg lens,which realizes the switching between different beam directions.The binary reconfigurable antenna designed in this paper increases the resonance point by means of strong coupling,so that the antenna bandwidth is greater than 45%of the bandwidth.The concave floor design makes the antenna gain higher,the entire frequency band is greater than 8.6d Bi,the network structure is simple,and the diode is used less,the design of the bias circuit is clever,and only one DC power supply is used to realize the control of 7 PIN diodes,which saves resources.This paper designs a four-element reconfigurable antenna array.Firstly,a cross dipole antenna with a metal thickness is designed.Through simulation,it is found that the S11 of the antenna is less than-10d B between 1.6GHz-2.8GHz and the gain is greater than 8.8d Bi in the entire working frequency band.Then,4 channels and reconfiguration network feeds are designed.In the electrical network,21 PIN diodes are added to the network,through the conduction and cut-off of the diodes to control the transmission path of the signal energy,the simulation shows that the loss of different transmission paths is between 0.8d B-1.2d B;then the feed network is crossed with the broadband The vibrators are combined to form a four-element array,which realizes the reconfigurable pattern of 8 state switching,and the standing VSWR of the eight states is less than 2 between 1.7GHz-2.7GHz;finally,the four-element reconfigurable antenna array is used as the source applied to the plane luneberg lens,which realizes the function of beam scanning.The four-element reconfigurable antenna array designed in this paper has a wide bandwidth,above 50%,and gain above 8.8d Bi.The design has many working conditions.Using the reconfigurable array as a planar luneberg lens feed can achieve large-angle beam scanning,can achieve-32°to+32°beam coverage.The two groups of reconfigurable antenna arrays designed in this paper are applied to a plane Luneberg lens as the feed,we can choose the two-element reconfigurable antenna array under the condition of small-angle scanning,and under the condition of large-angle beam coverage,the four-element reconfigurable antenna array can be used.The reconfigurable antenna array is used as the lens feed,which simplifies the design of the feed and has high application value.
