Compared with two-dimensional radar,three-dimensional radar can not only obtain the range and azimuth information of the target, but also provide the height information of the target. This advantage makes three-dimensional radar play an important role in air surveillance, warning and guidance.DBF technology is widely used in three-dimensional radar because it can form multiple beams with flexible direction at the same time.DBF based three-dimensional radar can flexibly switch between wide beam and narrow beam, freely control the dwell time in different elevation areas, and focus more on the direction of interest. This makes it have better measurement performance. In this thesis, the signal processing method of DBF-system three-dimensional radar is discussed, and the engineering practice is carried out based on a project.Firstly, the basic principles of pulse compression, beamforming, clutter suppression and angle estimation in radar signal processing are introduced in detail, and these methods are simulated and analyzed.Secondly, the influence of partial pulse compression on the SNR of output signal is analyzed, and the problem of low angle measurement accuracy for close range targets when the traditional radar transmits wide and narrow pulses simultaneously is analyzed. An angle measurement method based on weighted SNR of wide and narrow pulses is proposed, and the effectiveness of the method is verified by simulation analysis. This method makes full use of the radar echo information and reduces the waste of resources. Finally, the hardware processing platform and signal processing flow of a DBF-system threedimensional radar are briefly introduced, and the engineering implementation of the signal processing is completed.
