With the advent of 5G era,there are more requirements for antenna,such as requiring faster transmission rate,greater bandwidth,higher gain and so on.Low-frequency bands are becoming increasingly unavailable due to the increasing popularity of communication systems,and the bandwidth available is becoming narrower and narrower,which inevitably leads to the decrease of transmission rate.Therefore,we need antennas that can perform well at higher frequencies.However,with the continuous improvement of technical requirements,the millimeter wave antenna system is generally faced with more and more bloated problems.The miniaturization of the millimeter wave antenna system has also been an important part of the millimeter wave antenna system's science.The combined concept of the filter and antenna is one of the antenna system's miniaturization concepts.Based on this concept,this paper adopted the Substrate Integrated Waveguide(SIW)structure's ease of integration,small size,high power capacity through the design with high-quality filtering properties of SIW filters and broadband,high gain of the SIW slot antenna to get a broadband,high selectivity,high gain filtering antenna.The main contents of this paper are as follows:First,the working principle and design ideas of the filter are discussed,A SIW-based filter is designed to realize the role of passband in the 27GHz-30GHz and stopband in the remaining bands,according to the cross-coupling filter theory.And make sure the transition band of the filter is steep enough.Secondly,a wideband,high gain antenna array is designed based on SIW The antenna array selects waveguide slot antennas with a single layer structure.In terms of performance,this antenna has the advantages of large power capacity,high aperture efficiency,easy to realize narrow beam and low sidelobe,etc.It has the benefits of simple integration,compact scale,light weight and low cost,making it an excellent option for filter antenna construction.Thirdly,various schemes for the integration of filter and antenna are discussed.The filter and antenna are integrated to verify the feasibility of multiple integration schemes and compare the advantages and disadvantages of multiple schemes at the same time.Finally,filter antennas with high selectivity,high gain and small size are selected in all design schemes.
