With the rapid development of electronic technology,the radio electronic countermeasure system in modern warfare,as an electronic weapon for reconnaissance and jamming of electromagnetic information in the battlefield,is of great military significance.Under the traditional analog architecture,the radar RF front-end cannot meet the development needs of future systems such as broadband,integration,and software definition.FPGA digital radio frequency transceiver is based on the idea of software radio,using multi-gigabit transceiver integrated in FPGA to realize all-digital transceiver processing,which has the advantages of integration,low power consumption,and software programmable.This paper designs and verifies an FPGA digital RF transceiver for electronic countermeasures,with an frequency range of 2.7?5.2GHz,a receiving dynamic range of >15d B,and output ACLR<-35 d Bc.It is based on a single FPGA chip to realize the detection and transmission of radar signals.This article describes the difference between FPGA digital RF transceivers and traditional transceivers,and introduces the digital signal processing technology in digital transceivers.The design of the digital transceiver is given,and the system simulation is carried out in Matlab,and the project is realized through Vivado.Finally,the function and performance of the digital transceiver are tested on the FPGA board.The main work of this paper is summarized as follows:1.The application of FPGA digital radio frequency transceivers for electronic countermeasures is studied,and the reception of radar LFM signals based on high-speed transceivers is realized.Analyze the receiving effect of different reference signals in PWM modulation for the radar LFM signal,and improve the receiving method using the reference as the ground.Use the high-speed transceivers to realize the RF sampling of the signal.2.Realize the frequency measurement and demodulation of the digital transceiver on the received signal.Modules such as frequency measurement,digital down-conversion and RF down-sampling are designed.The frequency measurement module has a simple structure,and the RF down-sampling module effectively saves DSP resources.Complete the functions of receiving reconnaissance and baseband demodulation.3.The digital transceiver uses the demodulated baseband signal to transmit in radio-frequency by modulation.Use the DFT-PWM modulation module and analyze the coding efficiency of the mapping ratio of the LFM signal in the DFT-PWM modulation,improve the mapping ratio between the modulation mapping point and the signal to be modulated,and improve the performance of the RF output.The output main signal power is about 3d B improved.4.The simulation and experimental of the digital transceiver is completed.The digital transceiver system simulation is carried out through Matlab software,and its effect is preliminarily verified.Finally,the implementation and experimental are completed in FPGA and the experimental results are analyzed.Point out the advantages of this design compared with other radar transceiver architectures,and verify the feasibility of FPGA digital radio frequency transceiver.
