In recent years,the level of integrated circuit manufacturing technology is constantly improving,and the technology based on Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor(CMOS)is gradually approaching its physical limit,such as quantum effect,leakage current effect,power dissipation and other problems become more and more prominent,these secondary effects seriously affect the further development of integrated circuits.In order to continue to shrink the circuit and improve the performance of the microprocessor,CMOS alternatives are indispensable.Quantum-dot cellular automata(QCA)is a research topic with the potential to design new hardware components.It has nanometer size,ultra-low power consumption and high clock rate,showing a good development prospect.Communication system is a hot research direction in the field of telecommunication.Using QCA to realize nano communication network has broad prospect in the application field.For the further development of nanocomputer,nanocommunication circuits should have the ability to detect and correct errors.Hamming code plays an important role in the error detection and correction of communication circuits.It can detect and correct single-bit error by inserting supervision bits into the transmitted information stream.In this paper,we get a new efficient design method of QCA binary decoder.As the look-up table of Hamming decoder,it has the advantages of simple structure and fast response.Based on the proposed binary decoder,the encoder and decoder circuits of(7,4)and(15,11)Hamming codes are implemented by QCA in this paper.By inserting check bits into the information stream to be transmitted,it can not only check whether the data is valid,but also point out the location of the error code and correct it in case of single-bit error.In summary,the design proposed in this paper is enlightening for the realization of nano communication with QCA,and plays an important role in the detection and correction of communication circuits.At the same time,the development of communication architecture in QCA is very important to consolidate QCA as a possible substitute for CMOS devices.
