Wireless sensor network is one of the research hotspots in the field of information. It can be used for signal acquisition, processing and transmission in special environments. It is a brand-new information acquisition and processing technology. However, the energy problem has always been an important factor limiting the development of sensor networks. This paper studies the traditional SPIN(Sensor Protocol for Information via Negotiation)routing protocol, and improves it from different angles, and achieves the improvement of network performance in terms of throughput, node energy consumption and transmission delay. The main research work of this paper is as follows:(1)The research background, structure and characteristics of wireless sensor network are analyzed;the routing protocol of the sensor network is studied and the SPIN protocol is focused on;the principle, advantages and disadvantages of network coding and the implementation process of minimum hop routing protocol are analyzed.(2)Based on the traditional SPIN protocol, this paper designs an improved LNC?SPIN protocol by combining the layered network coding model and the SPIN protocol.Layering can limit the transmission direction of packets and the propagation of redundant packets, and when a node sends a DATA message,it can use network coding to reduce the number of data packet transmissions.Through simulation experiments,it can be found that the improved protocol has a certain improvement in throughput and average remaining energy of nodes.(3)For occasions with high real-time requirements, since the data transmission direction of the traditional SPIN protocol is arbitrary, its performance is not very good. Therefore, this paper combines the minimum hop routing protocol with the SPIN routing protocol. When the network topology changes, the node will maintain its own hop value in a distributed manner, and will not be interfered by data transmission Through simulation experiments,it can be found that the protocol has improved in terms of average number of hops, average delay and average energy consumption of the node.
